Beautiful setting with views over the Braunton Burrows and to the sea. South facing to make the most of the sun at the front and a courtyard garden with a hot tub at the back which is excellent after a day at the beach. Rustic farm conversion with separate BBQ and fire pit area to gather in the evening.

Our stay at Tideaway Cottage in Instow was amazing!
The property was literally beside the beach with a 60 second walk. The cottage was well equipped, very tidy and had everything we needed to make the most of our stay.
We know Instow very well, and it was great not to worry about parking, and our little place was so close when we needed to come home to rest after a long day out on the beach or visiting local places.
Choice made it very easy for us to book, and communication was very good, too.
Highly recommended and we will be back soon :-)

Great little cottage ideal for a couple who want to get away for a bit. Clean and comfortable and quiet.

House well equipped and in a good
location. However the shower tray flooded. Drain blocked so you had to have a very quick shower so it didn't flood. The garden gate was old and broken and extremely difficult to close. Bramble next to gate not cut back poking you when leaving and entering the property. Toilet door didn't shut and when I tried I got stuck! The sitting room door didn't shut either so doing toilet business was embarrassing!! No welcome pack on arrival. Several sockets didn't work. The company don't read the emails as I sent one outlining my issues and got a bog standard - glad you enjoyed your stay!! Well overpriced considering all the issues

100% on accommodation.
All you need to bring is yourself as everything is at hand .
Great introduction from hosts.
Only note would be to invest in mattress toppers as to the beds been split , this would add to an better sleeping experience.
Would I stay again 100% yes .
Would I shout out to friends and family ,already have .
Most beaches 25-35 mins away..Barnstaple great for shopping and eating out...
Local supermarkets 8 mins away.
Closet pub 3 mins away .

We had a lovely family stay at Whitehaven. The property is excellently equipped (it even had dog shampoo) and is in a great spot with 2 good pubs within 10 minutes walk. Perfect!

This was the first time we had come across Choice Cottages. They did all that you would expect from a holiday cottage rental frim with minimum of fuss.
Good communication, clear cottage details with plenty of pictures.
No problems - so that's good then !

The location was great, very central. The apartment was clean and had everything you needed.
The emails from the owners were very helpful and informative, especially regarding parking.
Would definitely stay again

Location was brilliant - Attention to details was very much appreciated and anticipating our needs. Chocolates on the soft towels, treats for the dog + Poo bags in case guests forget. Washing machine with a couple of liquid pods, we came with kids so there was milk in the fridge. I packed my own knives, cling film, foil, salt etc knowing rental places are usually pretty poor on these items but not at Instow Tideway, everything was available and of good quality. The location was incredible, one minute from the beach, pubs and restaurants but yet quiet in a hide away little close. Couldn't fault any of it.

Location is great, only 5 minutes walk to the village centre and beach. Wonderful uninterrupted view of the beach and sea. Clean, modern and comfortable apartment. Really nice kitchen diner with lots of cutlery and crockery. Private parking outside the front door.

Absolutely dreadful company to deal with. We had a change of circumstances due to a member being critically ill. Choice Cottages were no use whatsoever, refusing to answer our calls and email.

Will never book or recommend again.

The flat was lovely, well equipped and with amazing views. It was clean however, it could have been cleaned slightly more in depth and definitely a broom would be a great addition! The tumble drier was ok but I think in a place like Ilfracombe a tumble drier needs to be efficient and always available especially if there are kids; when it starts raining (and we know there can be a lot of rain in Ilfracombe) how can people dry clothes?
One negative point is the bunkbed bedroom, it's ok but not for adults so really the accommodation is for 2 adults and two children. The owners were fantastic and very very kind and helpful so well done to them the perfect hosts! All in all a wonderful experience!

The Wonkey Cottage was available last minute. It was above our expectations. The cottage is very clean, well equipped and there is use of the garden. It's very private. We received a warm welcome from the owner Faith who resides in the main property. It's in a perfect location with a 10 minute walk to the beach and village. There are nice places to eat and drink in Croyde.

Whitehaven - Excellent house for North Devon

We stayed at Falling Waters, Woody Bay. Lovely apartment, extremely well equipped and furnished to a high standard. The view from the sitting room and bedroom is amazing, a panoramic view of Woody Bay, with a huge expanse of sea and sky. Very quiet and peaceful, just the sound of tinkling water from the tiny waterfall by the terrace and the distant sound of the sea.

Lovely, clean, spacious and well equipped bungalow and well located to explore North Devon by car or bus. Our second visit here by our family of three generations and plenty to do for all of us - we will definitely be returning here again soon.

Comfortable and cosy cottage in a quiet location right in the middle of Braunton. Cottage exactly as described. Well equiped kitchen, spacious bathroom, comfortable beds. Driveway is quite narrow, but we managed to get in OK. Property manager was very responsive. Would definitely recommend

My husband and greatly enjoyed our 2nd stay at Whitehaven. This is beautifully presented house with every amenity you could ask for. The house was immaculate. The village of Georgeham is beautiful and extremely peaceful. The Kings Arms is five minutes away by foot and offers great food and an awesome atmosphere. We can’t wait for our next stay!!

Fabulous cosy cottage in quiet location but near to the pub/shops and the beach - perfect! Well equipped kitchen with everything you need for a short stay, and lovely relaxing lounge/dining area. Comfortable beds and good shower as well. Would stay here again.

Unfortunately they didn't assist us with our wish to contact the owner of a holiday cottage we were disappointed with. We tried for months to contact the holiday cottage owner, but got nowhere and were offered minimal assistance by choice Cottages. A poor service. They appeared uninterested. Such a shame.
