Was in Crossgates Leeds store yesterday…

Was in Crossgates Leeds store yesterday to buy some curtains. The lady on curtains (wish I had taken her name) took my measurements figured out which would be the best size curtains, double checked with a colleague and pulled out the curtains quickly for me. I was in and out faster than I thought I would be with sales assistants help. Thank you x

Absolutely disgusting customer service

Absolutely disgusting customer service, I purchased 3 security lights and all 3 where found to be faulty, when I took them back to the Stockton on Tees branch the member of staff basically said tough luck your stuck with them, no refund or credit voucher was offered even though they where all boxed up with the Chilton mills price tag still attached and purchased from that exact branch, common sence and customer service is absolutely zero in this store, Stockton-on-Tees.

excellent service…

my wife and i recently went int the Chiltern Mills store in Crossgates Leeds for curatains and we were given expert help and advice so much so the curtains were bought.a week later they fitted the poles and 3 days later got the altered curtains back
excellent service would have no hesitation in recommending them

Buyers beware !

Buyers beware !
I ordered 2 pairs of curtains on 6/3 and was promised I would have them within 14 days, 3 telephone calls to them still no curtains so I visited the store today to ask for a refund of my deposit but the manager flatly refused to refund me.
Their customer service is non existent and It looks as though I will have to go to trading standards to get my money back.

Rip off Britain

I don't rate it at all, bought one pair of curtains and ordered what I thought would be the exact same, wrong,pair one good quality rich colour, pair 2 which they ordered, different shade, poor quality tat, they don't refund, I have to send a complaint request to hq in Leeds, why have a manager and staff that clearly see the difference but can't give a refund, let's see what hq come up with?trading standards will be contacted if no refund and I'm sure fraud is been committed by this sham of a company.

BEWARE, NO MONEY REFUNDS.

Chiltern Mills appears to have a good choice of curtains, BUT be aware. If you buy the wrong size or want to change your choice, even with a like new package & receipt, they will not give you a refund, only a credit note. I have the curtains I want but they also have £14 of mine. As this store is 10 miles from my home, I don't know when or if I will go back there again. Also, the credit note only lasts 6 months. These are not good policies these days & not what I call good customer services.

Really good aftercare service

Really good aftercare service. Joanne Morrison in the furniture dept has been extremely helpful and supportive while helping sort out a manufacturing problem. (Not Chiltern Mills fault!!)
Would definitely buy from here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this store!

Curtain hunting!…

Went to this store today to purchase some curtains for our caravan. The three ladies in the department for curtains went above and beyond to help. And I left with the perfect curtains for our van thanks to them. They were so helpful and friendly and very patient with me. Highly recommend this company.

Super kingsize tercel mattress

I've bought a mattress 430 quid. And I've had it 2 months. The side has collapsed leaving the edge as soft and cause km paralyzed i slip out and fall on floor. 2 people been out today and looked at it and they trying to say cause im disabled my slide board has done it. Which is strange as mr slide board does not touch that part of the bed. Infact nowhere near it. So today was told they won't replace and won't do anything else. They even said if I told the woman in shop i was a wheelchair user they would have advised me. Lol they advised me go buy that one cause i went into the shop to buy it. And yep u guessed it i was in my wheelchair lol. Im paralysed dummy i can't pick and choose when i use a wheelchair. I'm glad my council support worker and social worker has seen me getting in and out and seen where the board sits. Now stuck with a mattress that is bust on one side.

STAY AWAY FROM HERE. WISH I READ REVIEWS BEFORE I SPENT CASH

This is the worst store that I’ve ever…

This is the worst store that I’ve ever dealt with, they love to take your money for unsatisfactory goods and are not willing to resolve any problems or even have the decency to return any calls over a complaint that you may have! I would strongly advise anyone to stay away from this store unless you only require a cheap candle or an item that is less than £10!

DISGUSTING!!

This shop doesn’t care about the customer, they love to take your money but don’t care about you once you have paid, I paid £2200 for 2 sets of curtains and blinds and was given a date of 3 weeks for them to be fitted, after 3 months they are finally fitted but very badly and of a very poor quality, I would definitely never recommend anyone to purchase anything from this store!

The measuring up team at Chiltern have been really helpful. Listened to what I wanted, gave helpful ideas.
We had a conversation about entering the property due to Covid-19 and safety measures I had in place, all adhered too.

Verbal abusive

I am a regular customer of Chiltern mills ,recently bought curtains but due to color mismatch. Today,I went to exchange it as I was returning them within 7 days return policy. And I got receipt aswell.
As I was checking other curtains one of the worker an African race lady asked me that we can't exchange it because food smell coming from curtains I told them that I have just put on the curtains for few minutes to check measurements but she argue with me that I can smell it and the curry smell coming from you aswell and so are the curtains and therefore we can not take it back,as I am Asian race ,it was an open verbal abusive attitude as she has no rights to pass comments on me and I argue that with her,which she replied that she said nothing wrong or abusive.ahe said ""you smell that's why I told you "".
I didn't exchange the curtains as I was so upset .How can the staff be so rude with customers to passing personal comments on them
I want you to take strict action against her and reply me with any updates before I take it further to concern authorities or social media.
