I ordered the bullet camera as a birthday present for my son, so cannot vouch for its performance. I can though, for the excellent customer service I received. I stupidly entered my own address as the delivery address, instead of my son's. I emailed Customer Service in a panic, as the birthday was in only 3 days. Lisa was incredibly helpful and friendly, as she arranged for the parcel to be delivered first class and it duly arrived on my son's big day! I was delighted with this fantastic and personal service.

I’ve been using my bullet camera for about 6 months now. It’s stuck on my helmet whenever I go for a ride I’m never without it! The quality of the images is superb, anything goes past in same or opposite direction I can read the number plate. I felt a bit self conscious to begin with as it is fastened to my helmet but that soon went and I’m now thinking of a second one to look backwards. After sales advice and service has been brilliant.

A great product, and even better after-sales service. Paul at Chilli tech was quick to respond and resolved my issue without any hassles. I can highly recommend Chilli Tech.

Excellent service from these guys, I ordered the cree front light over a year ago, but did not use it until recently. Light failed (turns out it was the battery) and it was immediately replaced without question.

The camera took a little while to arrive. I felt the need to chase it up, but it arrived a couple of days after.

The camera itself works ok, but only in daylight and, if I'm being really honest, if you're not moving.

It doesn't do a great job of stabalising images and is near useless at night. I bought this to record my cycle journeys as I had been struggling with aggressive drivers putting me at risk. It really struggles to pick up number plates unless the vehicles are stationary and it is daylight. Otherwise they are a bit of a bur which mean it is not fit for the purpose I bought it for. I have tried shouting numberplates when incidents happen, but the sound quality is terrible. Nothing can be heard at all.

I contacted Chilli Tech twice asking them if this is what's to be expected. They are yet to respond and my first email was 1 month ago. This indicates to me that they know the camera has these issues.

I should've saved a bit more and buy a GoPro.

I bought 2 x Bullet Cams in Sept last year. One for myself and one for a friend. They are great value for money and excellent for the purpose for which they're intended. Battery life is great. I did a 4 hour ride and the the battery was still going! I had a small problem with one camera which stopped charging. A quick response from Paul and he sent me a replacement, a bag to return the original camera and refunded the postage cost back to me. Great service. A number of cycling friends have since bought one. Our group rides are now covered from every angle :-)

I got the Bullitt 1 camera before Christmas. It has never recorded sound successfully out of doors, except the wind-noise. Two or 3 times I got a recording of a short ride. Since then it has been turning itself off arbitrarily (though once it turned itself on again for 30 seconds). I thought it might be the battery loosening due to vibration so I put a bit of foam inside the cap to prop it in more firmly, but to no avail. And no reply to my Facebook message to the company. I am posting this review as I perceive that others have got an answer from chillitech by leaving a bad review.

I Bought a Cree Front light after seeing a Chilli Technology review and ad. Fabulous light. I've been Cycling for over 40 years. Easily the best light I've used. Got a Cree Front light on all my Bikes. Any issues I've had Paul the Founder or Customer services have been faultless.I mislaid the Rubber mounting strap. Paul sent a replacement out immediately. My latest light sadly developed a fault. I posted it back with a cover letter. I had a replacement in the time it took Royal Mail to deliver it. Like all businesses Chilli have had the double edged sword of Christmas madness and sadly they've suffered Covid related absences but everything is dealt with promptly. I can't praise them highly enough. Especially Paul who somehow has time to personally contact me and check I'm happy with the the product.. I've also bought the Headtorch. Ridiculously bright for such a small light. It's like a Floodlight

Wow. This service is amazing. Even during busy time. I always received a detailed communication and was kept up to date with my order.
The camera is amazing and the mount really good.

Ordered the Cree 2400 and Capsule 800 and were both delivered very fast and are fantastic lights. I then decided that for my type of MTB riding (twisty trails in the woods) I needed to go a bit brighter and so Paul at Chilli Tech was as responsive, and as easy to deal with as you could hope, and arranged for the lights to be swapped over for the more powerful ones. Nothing was too much trouble and the communication was excellent throughout. If only more stores were as customer-focused as Chilli Tech.

I have a bullet cam purchased in October 2021, I had a small problem as it stopped charging, posted it back to chilli-tech with a supporting letter, the camera was posted Monday and back in my hands by Saturday, can’t fault the service, thankyou.

Awesome lights, great visibility and very easy to fit and charge.

Bullet camera, useless, when it was working the battery life was poor. After about 8 weeks it became temperamental, sometimes it would start, others not, the vibration / light indicator had a life of its own.
Subsequent communication with the company has been abysmal despite giving the owner lots of time and multiple opportunities to reply.

I ordered and received a MII bullet camera. Ordering easy, delivery as expected, item as expected and works.
BUT the videos regarding use of 64gb sd card are misleading.
Tried to get response from company ref this. No communication whatsoever.

Ordered my new bullet camera two days ago. Forgot to order the out front mount so emailed Paul from Chilli and he responded immediately and added the mount to the order. Next day it was delivered through my door. Excellent customer service. Thanks very much Paul and the team

I have been pleased with my purchase. It's a basic camera and it was a bit fiddly setting up the time and date but no problems since set up. It does default if you remove the card or battery, so don't. Just attach to laptop to view files and delete them. I haven't found clarity of image good enough to capture the vehicle Reg when into sun but if you just need a camera as an insurance for the day when someone pulls out in front of you then its good enough and at the price is a good buy. I did have a problem with the mount, which is not very good and came apart sending my camera bouncing along the road, but it just needed the screw tightening and camera still works ok.

Similar experience reported on Trustpilot of bad service. My bullet cam defaults the date/time when switched off. Sent 4 x emails, including a reply from one of the directors, but no reply or assistance given. The camera is not fit for use as the date/time defaults. I had a close pass from a vehicle, but could pass the recording on to the police as date/time incorrect.

Chilli just want to push products out there. The issue is with the time/date stamp, it's unusable, everytime you switch it off, it defaults to the install date. To correct it you have to hook it up to a pc and change the time/date forward to the time your going riding. I have contacted them 4x now for resolution, not one reply. They are a sham of a company.

I got two bullet cams earlier in the year but dropped one after a ride, followed by kicking it in a puddle..... My error

Contacted Chili Cam to check the price of new electronics and was delighted to receive a new camera. Great customer service

On the quality side, I have had a few close passes recorded clearly by the camera and the battery life lasted 7 hours.

Really pleased with the product and the company.

Chilli-Tech are a great company quick response's to my messages and the perfect product for me.
As most cyclists at some point I have received abuse/ near mis so I needed a product that was lightweight and looked where I looked plus water resistant due to our rubbish British weather so I purchased a bullet camera to attach to my bike helmet, it really is a good bit of kit I am pleased I bought it. to add Johnny is nice guy and when I explained I was a veteran he went even more out of his way to help and did me a fantastic deal ...Thank you
