I was a fan of the general idea and interface from the beginning and it evolved over time to something even better. Now with the Slackbot i feel I found a very promising Onboarding solution that works perfectly for our needs.
We joined the beta from day 1. Amazing job Stan and his crew made in implementing new features based on feedback (actually it felt like being in Alpha-phase with daily feedback and new features, Like!). Since launch we've had several new hires run over it and they feel more valued and well taken care off by us, thanks to Chief Onboarding. However from admin side its a bit more tricky to get the machine to dance, but that will improve I am sure.
For now just know its focused on "getting new hires knowledgeable about the company, people, documents etc", not (yet) the huge legal/insurance/policies battle that some HR-ERPs solve under the keyword "onboarding" (but fail completely on the "teaching the employees some info" front). We're happy, simple tool, new hires like it, Stan and crew very responsive. cool stuff.
