Did a good job and fair prices

We are thoroughly impressed with Dampmaster Guildford. We needed mold remediation, grout, sealing, and extensive redecoration work across both a bathroom and a bedroom. Managing this project remotely, we selected Dieter based on his exceptional responsiveness and strong reviews.
Dieter did a fantastic job, executing all agreed targets flawlessly and truly going the extra mile to ensure both my tenant and I were happy with the final finish. The quality of the workmanship is top-tier.

Weavers were very efficient and felled our very overgrown Eucalyptus in under an hour and that included all the clearing up. Communication was good throughout.

PVC door would not open. Posted add on Checkatrade. Bespoke responded, they said that they would be there in 15 minutes and they were.
The two men who came were very helpful and polite. Got the door open in seconds, they cleaned everything around the door and made sure that everything was clean and working perfectly, before leaving.
I would highly recommend them to anyone who has an issue with old windows and doors and even if they were having new ones fitted.
The price was reasonable and would definitely use them again when needed

Replacement garage doors required following impact damage. Speedy site visit by Gary who discussed our requirements and gave very helpful advice. A most competitive estimate followed by email. Subsequent dealings with Yvonne in the office were handled promptly and in a courteous manner. Fitting went ahead within the estimated timespan and completed to a high standard. Site left clean and tidy.

It was a very extensive job, an insurance claim, which Simmonds services handled very competently. The claim included plastering, wiring, plumbing, installation of a boiler, tiling, dealing with dry and wet rot, and installing a new kitchen and bathroom. The standard of work was excellent.

Do not use BD Healthsolutions painter and decorator. The tradesman was not a professional. He arrived without the appropriate ladders and broke health and safety laws by taking out an attic window to paint the A frame above it. He also did not follow the written job description and painted lead paneling at the side. He was not interested in his mistake as he had been paid cash in full and instead accused me of committing an offence against him by complaining to him and tried to frighten me by saying he had the rights to take legal action against me! Would never use checkatrade again. After talking to proper local professionals who advertise in local magazines, apparently checkatrade are full of rogue traders. Also checkatrade did not print my negative review and do not seem interested in my complaint that i have submitted. Do not use checkatrade, it is always worth getting local tradesmen by word of mouth. As regards to the reply from checkatrade regarding this review, I do not see any reason why my negative review was withheld as i was more than polite in just highlighting my concerns with this rogue trader. The concerns were of a health and safety aspect mostly, just outlining that the tradesman BD Healthsolutions asked me the client if i had a ladder to reach the attic. When i said no i didnt, he then said he had one and was used to walking on roofs. When he arrived he did not even get his ladder out, but just wanted to remove the attic window. He could not do the whole area i wanted doing as he obviously was not used to walking on roofs and did not have the proper safety equipment. This is a factual account and there was no reason to not publish it unless they just want to blank this out. This tells you what kind of site checkatrade are....and what kind of person this tradesman is, he didnt even know you are not supposed to paint lead. I should have listened to the alarm bells, so i take responsibility for not heedig them, but i dont want others to come across this sort of thing...at least trustpilot allow honest reviews.

From start to finish these guys listened to what I wanted and worked professionally and to my expectations, I am very happy with the work they carried out and will 100% have them back when I want any other work doing. They are fab at their job and I’m glad I chose them to do my house. Good communication throughout, attention to detail-spot on. I definitely recommend these guys, you will not be disappointed with the quality of the results. Thanks again
