I've been using cheaprooms.com for years but I won't use them anymore. I want to leave this review so other people won't go through the same, specially because this site is for on the budget travelers. Be advised that, since the pandemic, cheaprooms.com has decided to take any opportunity you give them, to steal your money. If you make the littlest mistake, oops! It's on you. "Sorry, we cannot do anything. You will have to pay again". What kind of service is that? And if you insist and threat them with reporting them to the regulating authorities, they will fix your mistake but not before charging your card with a 33% penalty. I booked a hotel for the day before I really needed a reservation. I was not canceling, I was moving it one day and that is how they treated me.
I would have understood if the hotel was full but no, it was almost empty!! The hotel said: "If you had booked with us directly, we would be able to change the date. But you booked through a third party, they have to fix it" Cheaprooms.com told me the hotel said no, but it was a lie. They just wanted to take your money in exchange of nothing! Be aware of that. And tell others!!!!

highly recommend this site especially if you are in a rush or last minute reservation mode.

I have Cheap Rooms bookmarked on my computer. Whenever I travel (which is often), I use Cheap Rooms to book my lodging. The website is user friendly. The prices are comparable to Priceline or Orbitz. Their selection of places ranges from the profane to the sublime and everything in between. Whatever end of the spectrum you choose, you will find the best price for the room you want. I am quite satisfied with Cheap Rooms.

We were given accurate information and loved our hotel room in Taipei. The only thing I would have liked to be different is perhaps making direct contact information for the hotel available... or for cheaprooms to contact hotel with special request. I will be using their site again for our travels! :0)
