Charlton Networks is our IT team. They have been supporting Seymour John for the past eight years – from a start-up, with 3 staff, to an expanding business of 36 people, with offices in the South West, Wales, the Midlands and the North of England.

Through Microsoft’s Office 365, Teams and SharePoint Online productivity tools, and Sophos Intercept X protection, they ensure we work efficiently, collaboratively and securely. As a business that holds a lot of client and candidate information, the latter has become an increasingly important consideration, for us, post-GDPR.

Always proactive, their technical expertise has kept us ahead of the curve. Loyal, attentive and with the responsive SLAs needed in today’s always-open economy, they have been everything we need in a long-term business partner and have played an important part in our ongoing growth. During the coronavirus outbreak Charlton Networks did an outstanding job of getting our team sorted out so that they could safely work from home. They delivered the project speedily & efficiently at very short notice & provided us with a very effective solution. I'm a private customer , I wanted to upgrade from a 12 year old home PC , but I'm not anyway near competant to make any meaningful decisions on my own. Thankfully , I received a prompt and totally appropriate proposition , a recomendation that I took in good faith. My faith has been fully realised, I was treated with honesty , no jargon, with practical ideas , and technical suggetsions that as an IT illiterate, I had no choice but to put my trust in the team.
Having initially tried to approach PC World in Cheltenham( who apparently think its funny if you dont know what you want) I was quite nervous about taking any purchase of new kit to the next step.
I can only say the Charlton team, from the top, to the hands on remote support really surpassed anything you will encounter as a customer from the big stores.Do yourself a favour, whether a business or a private individual , try CN , they have it nailed .
Even more so since my project had started just as the current emergency kicked in.So staff were dealing , as we all have , with massive changes to working practices ...Charlton carried on to ensure I was able to take my new laptop away to work from home myself. Including a machine to machine exchange of data. They bent over backwards to have staff meet me , with due social distancing , and they patiently talked me through the process.They have continued to support my needy calls into the team, also working from home , to deal with my sheer incopmpetance . I can report their kind efforts have worked.I am currently typing this one finger at a time in absolute bliss.It works , I can continue to function in this updated IT world.
I was unsure if they would spend time on my single purchase , thinking they were a business systems specialist. Nothing could be further than the truth.
They are both!! I will be , indeed I have already, recommended Charlton to friends as the go to guys.
