I received an offer directly from MyQ…

I received an offer directly from MyQ for a video keypad. I decided I didn't need it and tried to find out how to return it. I paid $5 shipping charge when I bought it. When I finally reached someone about returning it, it was a time consuming process. But I got a returtn number, but I had to figure out the best way to return. The cheapest was $17.95 vis USPS. So I'm out$22.95 for a $$60 purchase. Had I ordered from Lowes I could have returned for a full refund. Lesson learned. I will never order from them again.

Terrible craftsmanship

Terrible craftsmanship, terrible customer service, a total waste of money and time. If you buy their products (especially MyQ) and you have issues, it will be an unending convoluted mess to reach someone for help... and they don't really care! The customer service number goes to India, its impossible to reach them after listening too numerous ads to buy other things. If by chance you do reach someone, you are so mad and frustrated that you don't want to talk to someone who can't speak English in India! This is a very bad company who cares nothing for their customers. With their doorbell, after attaching it, you start getting notices via the app to recharge the battery even though it is wired; then when the battery dies, you are forced to remove it (not easy task), recharge it, and then re-install. If it is wired, why the battery????
Stay away from Chamberlain! Save yourself time and money!

No delivery in over 1-month. Poor customer service.

I ordered a garage keypad over 1-month ago and received an email confirmation stating delivery would be 2-3 business days, which placed delivery actually about 10-days later due to Christmas. I have never received the keypad nor has customer service contacted me. I continue to check the status online, which is frustrating as it hasn’t processed yet. I’ve tried the A1 auto idiot and it said I need to call customer service. I’ve called customer service and get stuck in this terminal loop where it cites I need to wait 2-minutes, another 2-minutes, another 2-minutes. I won’t buy a replacement system from this firm as they obviously have zero customer support. I can’t wrap my head around not receiving a courtesy email, text or call providing me the actual reason my order hasn’t processed. I guess it’s time to purchase a knock-off, which is 1/4 the price.

Worst customer service ever!

I installed one of their openers, remote did not work. Long story short, it took over 2 months to receive a new one. Took 4 phone calls and about 2 hours of my time, maybe more. Customer service agents do not speak clear English. One of the agents I was speaking to was talking so fast I had to ask him to slow down about a dozen times and he started turning the situation around saying I had the hearing problem. He refused to transfer me to another agent or supervisor. This was the worst buying experience I have ever had. I will NEVER buy one of their products again.

Garage Door Opener App Doesn't Work

Garage door opener will not work with bluetooth iPhone. That's the reason why I purchased a more expensive model. On the phone app there's a button "select for support" nothing happens. We have 4 people who all need remote switches.

The worst customer service

Horrible customer service. Tried to order a christmas present back on 11/30 and they quietly cancelled my first order after 1.5 weeks without ever notifying me. I just happened to notice when I was checking on its status. I stupidly placed another order for it to just sit there, never shipping, so I cancelled the order completely. But you have to CALL to cancel. The entire process took nearly half an hour and now 7 days later ... the product shipped and was never cancelled after all. So now I will have to wait to receive it, go through the trouble of returning it, and wait 7-14 additional business days to be refunded my $124. Currently sitting on the phone while my return label is processed (which will to take 10 minutes to do for some reason).

Plus, based on the other reviews, it sounds like the products suck too. Stay away!

Absolutely TERRIABLE Incompetent people…

Absolutely TERRIABLE incompetent people at Customer service. I have now called 5 Times to get the extension kit for my 9 ft high door. The first time nothing arrived after about 2 weeks. I called again they are suppose to send out a kit that includes a 10 ft Belt and Track kit. In about a week I received just a Belt. Called again and again they were suppose to send out the proper items. Nothing received in a week so I called back for the 3rd time. I than received another Belt in about 5 Days. Called the 4 time This time a got the feeling they knew exactly what was going on it is appears they are doing this on purpose?? Maybe? For some insane reason??? I have been on hold and talking with them this time now for 1 hour and 15 minutes. It now appears to me these customer service have no idea what a garage door open is?? No kidding. This time I had to go through their parts list to explain exactly what I needed. These customer service people at Chamberlain are like talking to a 5 year old about the extension kit needed. Plus this 5 year old has NEVER seen a garage door opener. I am NOT Kidding.

Frustrating and annoying!!!

Frustrating and annoying!!!! AI support takes you in a circle by not recognizing the issue described and keeps repeating the same question. Ask to be transferred to a live agent and I get a repeat of the same question. I gave up after 10 minutes

MyQ Garage Camera Review - Poor Customer Service and No Delivery

# What I Purchased:
MyQ Garage Camera - ordered approximately 3+ weeks ago

# What Went Wrong:
The product never arrived after my initial order. When I contacted Chamberlain customer support, they created a case and told me to call back the next day if the product wasn't delivered, promising a replacement would be sent. The product still didn't arrive, so I called back as instructed.

The second support agent completely ignored the existing case, asked me all the same questions the previous agent had already documented, and simply told me to "call UPS" - providing no actual assistance.

On my third call, the agent did review the case and claimed a replacement order had been created. That was 11 days ago, and still no product has arrived. Documentation of this issue has been deleted from support website.

# Impact on Me:
- Over 3 weeks without the product I paid for
- Multiple hours wasted on customer service calls
- Complete lack of communication or follow-through from Chamberlain Customer "Support"
- Lost confidence in the company's ability to fulfill basic orders

# Customer Service Response:
Extremely poor and inconsistent. The support team doesn't communicate with each other, cases are apparently ignored or deleted, and there's no follow-through on promises. The second agent was particularly unhelpful, essentially dismissing my issue entirely.

# What I Expected vs. What I Got:
Expected: A garage camera delivered within reasonable timeframe, or at minimum, competent customer service to resolve delivery issues.

Got: No product, wasted time, inconsistent support, and deleted case history that eliminates any record of my interactions.

# Current Status:
When I checked the support site recently, all my case history has been mysteriously deleted, leaving no trace of my multiple contacts or the promised replacement order.

# Would I Recommend?:
Absolutely not. If Chamberlain cannot handle basic order fulfillment and provides this level of customer service for delivery issues, I have serious concerns about their ability to support their products long-term.

# Suggestions for Improvement:
- Implement proper case management so agents can see previous interactions
- Follow through on promises made to customers
- Maintain proper records of customer service interactions
- Establish clear escalation procedures for unresolved delivery issues
- Provide proactive communication when orders are delayed

No Returns

BUYER BEWARE! I ordered their cameras. They would not stay connected consistently, even though there was a strong Wi-Fi signal. I wanted to return them, but they do not accept returns! What internet company operates like this?!?!

Chamberlain is a good company

Chamberlain is a good company! As a garage door technician I like how the company doesn't try to reinvent the wheel. They use the same lightbulb socket design sense the 90s and parts are always available. Chamberlain/Liftmaster have two bolts in the same position on all their models. This makes it easy to just swap the head unit. I hope the company never changes these awesome simple designs!

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY

This company told me that their product was compatible with my garage door opener, so I ordered it. When it arrived, I discovered that it was NOT compatible. The return policy forced me to pay for return shipping, even though the error was on their part. Now, almost a month later, I have yet to receive my refund. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!

STAY AWAY FROM LIFTMASTER PRODUCTS ! The advertising makes them look awesome but trust me, you will be replacing the unit or get stuck paying repair fees if your a home owner. Liftmaster is bottom tier across the board. Don't get fooled.

My door had opened 5 times by itself and guess what my car got STOLEN. Huge issue for us, cost us a ton of $$ and stress and now we can’t even use the garage! I want them to take responsibility and they won’t. They have a know issue and are culpable

Do not purchase from them I will be contacting the better business bureau
The person that answered the phone named Rick is absolutely obnoxious
I had a license electrician look at it it is bad wiring . They now want to send me and I quote better wires and leave my responsibility to do the connections to the eye sensors I asked this person to send the just the original wiring connected to the eye sensor which he refused which I know now everything comes from China they don't even open up the box.. deal with somebody else doesn't look like they manufacture anything. I actually emailed them 6 days ago they never bothered to email me back and this Rick person said they never even read it

When will this company get the message!

When will this company get the message! When 90% of your reviews are bad you’d. think that a bit of thought would given to changing. This company is going to be left behind as the new Matter platform is rolled out. I don’t want to use the MYQ app to control my devices and they have made it much more difficult to add their products to HomeKit or any other full Smart Home App. I do hope that the share holders will see these reviews and make the changes necessary to revive this company.

Useless

What’s the point of having a Watch app if I have to sign in to my iPhone every time I use it? Hugely regret going with this solution and will be finding a different system.

complete trash, paying a subscription to get nothing, cant cancel the subscription and am being forced to go to my credit card company and cancel through them. no customer service.
