This product is easy to use and very effective at cleaning up your computer. We have used it for a number of years now.

Is now the type of program that has zero ability to close it without task manager. Provides a service but acts like a virus on your computer as well.

The software solves an important problem.
It is very easy to use and to turn on (and off).
intuitive and explains what it is doing every time and every step

Contrary to many reviews of CCleaner, my experience especially with CCleaner Support, has been HORRIBLE. Their software identified of drivers to be updated and I installed them a few at a time. Then over the next couple of days, wierd things started to happen like the mouse taking control, typing keys like the PIN over and over at bootup and getting to the point that the Laptop would give the warning that max attempts had been done and forced a challenge question. Shutting down even became impossible and a fight of me trying to select SHUTDOWN while the mouse bounced all over the screen, minimized and maximized windows and even deleted files happened. These problems have continued to happen and support has been silent. They have been given logs, posted files to google drive and still nothing. Now been over a month of these issues as I slowly go to previous versions of the newly installed drivers with ZERO GUIDANCE from CCleaner Support.

Right now, there is a persistent "install bug" that pops up on your screen asking you to install it again and again after you purchase a subscription.

I would give this product a 5 otherwise, but they need to fix this ASAP

Great product
Keeps the PC clean and running better

The software is straightforward, it will work in the background, it is efficient, accurate, and I have NEVER lost data with CCleaner! I've never had a problem with the software and the price is acceptable.

I've used Ccleaner on and off for ages, mainly for cleaning up drive space, I was hugely disappointed today, however to see it revert to the sort of scare tactics employed by trojan type virus software that installs itself then tells you you're under attack and need to to buy their software to save you.

It popped up and announced my privacy status was CRITICAL and then showed me the purchase options to save the day. In reality those critical items were twaddle, they were minor matters and pretty normal/standard settings. All very poor.
