Manchester team are excellent

I have purchased several pieces of art from the Manchester King Street Gallery. Staff are excellent and organise lots of events, including meeting the artists. I have spoken to many other customers and everyone seems very happy with the service and advice.

They recently had James Gil aged 90 over from the US, a 60's pop artist and a great exhibition of his work. The gallery is also great for Bob Dylan's work.

Missing Artwork.

I ordered 5 pieces of Art by a particular favourite artist in December 2022.

3 pieces were delivered promptly 2 pieces were scheduled for delivery by a notoriously unreliable courier one piece is still missing in the couriers warehouse.

Despite numerous emails and telephone calls not a single person from Castle Galleries has been in touch to sort out the issue - by email or simply a courtesy phone call.

Customer service with this company are truly awful. If you do find your cannot purchase your favourite artists work without using this company my advice would be to collect yourself in store. Don’t ever use the online presence.

Good product, very poor service

Overall the piece of art is great but the customer service was awful. After waiting a number of weeks for delivery, I was thoroughly messed about through lack of communication and a substandard delivery agent. The bad experience was compounded by being fobbed off with promises of emails and return phone calls or follow up service, none of which ever happened.

When a sales agent eventually made an independent follow up contact, an initial suggestion of goodwill turned out to be contingent upon ordering TWO further pieces.

Although this wasn’t my first purchase with them, sadly Castle Galleries turned out to be a vendor of premium items with economy customer service. I felt treated with contempt and therefore am unlikely to buy further pieces in the future.
