Quality British made (Kirkpatrick) letter box cover with quick delivery

We are absolutely thrilled with our six lath pulley clothes airer from Cast in Style. It was extremely easy to assemble, with clear video instructions on the website. It has a beautiful design and good quality materials.

The order took about 10 days to arrive, which at the time made me a little nervous as I'm so used to Amazon next day delivery - but actually as they are a family run British company, 10 days is absolutely reasonable and I would definitely recommend and buy again.

Waited two weeks after ordering only to be told the item is now out of stock.
Shambles

OK so we are in a situation of social distancing and reduced staffing, but the processing, dispatch and delivery experience has been the poorest I have experienced in a long time.
Other than invoice stating 48 hour delivery, no communication from the company until prompted at which they said items now on a 5-10 day lead time.
Seems excessive when items apparently in stock.

Subsequent communication and customer service approach whilst polite, very defensive. This might an opportunity for CiS to reflect on how they raise their game and meet customer expectations. They did offer to cancel the order. My preferred seller is now out of stock, so I guess I need to make do.

I am sure out of lockdown they will be more efficient and faster, however please take on board and have a think about your customer service, communication and meeting customer expectations.

Ordered five shelf brackets. One snapped when being screwed in by hand. Contacted company and told must have been put under undue pressure. Was barely tightening it and didn’t even snap at the site of the screw. Would not even consider that it might be a faulty product.
As had four other brackets and needed a fifth that matched I was forced to spend more money to replace. To add insult to injury the price was higher and no offer to honour discount price from when I originally ordered or to pay postage.
Dealing with customer service was like talking to a repetitive robot and turns out she was the director!
Aftersales care non existent even though states on invoice to contact them with any problems at all. AVOID.

Cast In Style Ltd we did not say we broke it, we were honest and said it snapped whilst using it for the purpose it was intended. I tried to have a reasonable conversation with you, you were short, repetitive and unhelpful. You ignored my questions and I only mentioned reviews when I emailed asking for a reply to my queries as I wanted to give you another opportunity to resolve or at least meet me halfway. Please don’t state I threatened you when that isn’t true. I am happy to share our email exchanges if you would prefer

Not recommended, product let's in rain through door. When I advised CIS of the problem, I was sent a weather seal to fit around the door. However this also failed. The response from CIS was to inform me that the post box is shower proof and not waterproof and I should consider drilling another drain hole in the bottom of the box. £70 badly spent

Excellent products (harlech handles) - far superior to others that I looked at and look gorgeous on my new kitchen. Quick service and no fuss. Thank you!

We had a clothes airer bought for us as a present but we didn't put it up for a good while as we were house renovating. When we came to do so we noticed the cleat was missing so we contacted Cast in Style and were told that as the order was so long ago we would have to pay for one!!!!

Reasonably priced, well made and easy to install.
Easy to track the order, the item arrived as expected and was well packaged.

Superb company. Really helpful when I called to get advise on the door handles we needed. They were delivery in 3 days and when I needed to phone back for some help on fitting them there technical support was excellent. Made things really easy. Well done Cast in Style. How a company should be done.

I purchased a traditional Pulley Clothes Airer which was advertised as 6 foot long; a perfect fit (or so I thought)! When the package arrived, I noticed that the airer was shorter than expected. After measuring it turned out to be 5 foot 9 inches (3 inches less than advertised).

I had a particular requirement for the airer, and being 3 inches too short means that it couldn't be used or positioned as intended.

I immediately rang up Customer Services and suggested that I am happy to swap the airer for a different size but I was not happy having to pay nearly £40 for return postage.

Cast In Style were very obnoxious and claimed that it was my fault for not understanding their website. On the website, it did state "1.8M (6 foot)", however, I assumed that 1.8M WAS 6 foot!

They refused to cover the returns postage so I a now stuck with an airer which doesn't fit it's purpose.

I consequently contacted Trading Standards who were very helpful and agreed that their website was misleading. I have since noticed that Cast In Style have amended their website to state "APPROX" 6ft.

Was looking for 6" false hinges for my small shutters. Eventually found this Company. Love the hinges and their service. I placed a review for them, with a photo, which apparently went into a prize draw. I am always sceptical about these things but, I won and they refunded me the cost of the hinges - great result.

Excellent company to deal with. Easy to use web site and they were very helpful on the phone. Ordered a clothes airer and it came in 2 days. Really quick. Great installation video which made fitting it simple to understand. Superb

Too slow to deliver, had to cancel order.
Ordered Monday morning, took 3 working days to pack, then another 1-3 days courier expectation!
Thought 5 days for delivery of in-stock item to major city plenty, had to cancel the order as would be away by then.

We have just received our black swan door stop. Delivery given as 2-7 days arrived next day. Outer Packaging slightly damaged but internal packaging excellent. Swan bubble wrapped and inside its own box. This box then bubble wrapped as well. Perfect. Well done CiS. Terry Evans

Couldn't praise Cast in Style enough. They we so helpful when we needed some advice. The products are beautiful and came the next day. One of the items had to be bespoke hand made for us and even this only took a couple of weeks to be made. Really excellent. Thank you all the guys who helped.

Very helpful company. Ordered a clothes airer and don't know why we didn't get one years ago. Dries clothes in no time. Forums it easier to fit than I though and the installation video was really usefull

I ordered my handles in the middle of May and finally received them the middle of August but with screws missing from every handle!! When I put the order through it was confirmed that I should receive the handles within 1-3 working days. In total my order was delayed 4 times and arrived 3 months late. During this 3 month delay NOT ONCE did I receive a single phone call or email from Cast in Style to keep me up to date or let me know what was happening, I had to call and chase for information every time. I requested each time to be informed if there would be further delays with the new delivery dates but unfortunately that NEVER ever happened. I finally received the handles last week to find that only one screw had been provided with each handle instead of two!!
After having to wait 3 months for my handles and making 4 separate complaints about not being kept informed of my order this is really insulting and just shows a complete lack of care. I insisted on speaking to the owner Annie who was 'sorry for the inconvenience'. When I pushed for a more sincere understanding of my dissatisfaction I was told be her that she had made a 'real effort' by coming out of a meeting to talk to me and that part of the reason for all of this happening was because of people being on holiday!! I also had to insist several times that I should be given a form of discount/ compensation for this experience and was reluctantly offered 10% - £12 in total. It has cost me more in phone calls as its a premium rate number you have to call!!! I would NEVER by from this company again. Awful awful service!!!
