Very bad company

Very bad company. I have only had my case for 6 months. I bought it because the box the case was in said it would protect the phone from a 10 foot drop. it does not do this. my phone dropped less then 3 feet out of my pocket and the back of the phone shattered. now they won't do anything about it. AT&T is promoting this casemate, and I am very disappointed. I don't want to give casemate a star at all, a 10- would be better.

Case Mate Cases do not protect from 3 foot falls

When I purchased an iPhone 8 plus from the AT&T store, I also wanted a case to protect my purchase that was more stylish and that would allow me to see the back screen. The representative suggested a Case Mate case and explained that the case would protect the phone from 10 foot drops. One year later, I dropped my phone on a wooden floor from a height of 3 feet. The back screen cracked. Case Mate explained that their warranty only replaces broken cases. Do not purchase one of these "stylish" cases if you want your phone protected. They do not work and Case Mate will do nothing to help fix your broken screen.

Great warranty policy

I bought one waterfall case a bit more than a year ago and it slowly started to lose the water. However I contacted Case mate to claim the warranty and they left me chose a new one and sent to me without any extra fee. I just got it and it’s so beautiful 😍, I will always purchase my cases from this brand.

Casemate doesn't back up their claims to protect iPhones!

ing. Does not protect.
I bought a case for my IPhone XR at the AT&T store in Kaufman,Texas. I had the Immediately had the sales representative put it on my phone and placed a Guard screen protector on it.
1 month later. I drop my phone on my classroom f floor from a height of about 3 feet. It landed face down. The back of my iPhone shattered inside the case. Phone case completely unharmed was completely unharmed. A phone case should protect your phone from accidents that is why I paid the big bucks for this case! This one did not.
I called their customer service department about the warranty claim and the warranty service representative said the company only replace their products from defects. This company claims it protects your device up to a drop of 10 feet, but they do not back up that claim!

False advertising. Does not protect.

I bought a case for my IPhone X at the AT&T store. Immediately put it on my phone and placed a Gadget Guard screen protector on it.
Fast forward several months. I drop my phone on a wood floor from a height of 3 feet. It lands face down. Screen and protector are both cracked. Phone case completely unharmed. A phone case should protect your phone from accidents. This one did not.
I visited their site and they only warranty their product from defect. They claim it protects your device, but they do not back up that claim.
Kudos to Gadget Guard. They go above and beyond when/if their product fails. They realize accidents happen.

very Frustrating experience

This company is complete bs! Their customer service sucks! They take their time on refunds. Will not reimburse you postage for returning an item that is damaged or not as described. I will never purchase another thing from them...EVER! The pictures of the cases do not look the same in person!
If you try to post a negative review on their site for a case it’s denied, they will not post it.
Avoid this business if you don’t want to be completely frustrated!

They do not like to refund your money

The product I purchased from tmobile is a great case. I order one online from casemate but ordered the wrong size and sent it back for my refund and because I didn't purchase a tracking number from ups they are telling me they have no record of my return so my refund is denied. I sent the invoice that came with the phone and the email they told me to send also as I was told to do. I will never purchase from them again I'm done.

I loved their cases

I loved their cases. I purchase my first case with my Samsung 7 and it lasted me the whole two years. I figure I do the same with my new Note 9. Instead of buying in-store like I did my first time I decided to buy through them instead. Boy was I sooo wrong. Never realizing that my item wouldn't get to my place when stated. I bought on October 10th and didn't get here until today October 22. I kept calling and trying to figure out where my case was. I went to their UPS website and realize that they ship UPS innovation which than is transfer to USPS. I kept going on USPS website and it kept stating "awaiting item" UPS kept stating transfer item on 10/12 (Friday) It took one whole week for USPS to deliver my item. Called both shipping companies and neither can give me any information. I called the company and they were clueless all the kept saying it takes 3 to 7, call us back after Monday if not received, I even asked for a refund and they were not helpful with it. ....Lesson learn never again. Next time Ill purchase through Amazon.

Unfortunate Service

Company FAQs state item will be shipped same day or within 24 hours. So I sent an inquiry regarding my item status 3 business days after ordering. They took 1 business day to answer stating the item shipped that day, which was 4 business days after ordering. No mention of what the delay was or even sorry for the inconvenience.

I selected free shipping. This was my mistake since I live in Hawaii. But, I did not know what method of shipment it would be because it wasn't stated anywhere. I should have asked, so this is my bad. It just stated that shipping usually takes 3-7 business days but Hawaii may take additional delivery time. A big company like this I would think that First Class Mail would be cheap. If I sent it perhaps a few dollars for such a light item. But they sent it parcel mail. Okay, no problem, but things was made worse by sending it through UPS innovations. Extra delivery time was spent through UPS, then now through USPS. It should have just been sent through USPS. Now I'm expected to receive it 18 business (26 actual days) days after ordering. I think I should have just ordered through Amazon or another company. I got my other case within 3 days of ordering from another company with free shipping.

Crappy Customer Service

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I have filled out a warranty claim twice with no response from the company. I have a lava lamp case that I got from Target. It has two large bubbles in it that were not there when I bought it and they keep getting bigger. They will not email me back or even acknowledge that I filled out the form. DO NOT buy a CaseMate case because their customer service is crap.

They are liars and scammers

They are liars and scammers. They did not uphold their warranty even after agreeing to replace my case. They email in circles and threaten to close the “ticket” if you don’t call. And no one answers the phone after days and days of trying to call. They should be outed for their behavior and shut down.

Skip Casemate!

Casemate are meant to give a one year warranty, on their expensive charging wallet - but they didn’t honour the warranty, after the battery charger stopped working after nine months. They must think I played hockey with it or something - but I’m a mid-50s guy who used it for work. So turns into an even more expensive product when this happens. I had also had the same one previously, before this one - but loyalty is obviously not considered by Casemate. So.. never again - there are cheaper products out there - that work better, and don’t break down.

life time warranty?

My case cracked back in September I contacted them in October to get it replaced seeing it is a life time warranty. I was told They no longer carried the case anymore ( this phone was released in January of 2017 please tell me why they " no longer make it") I then contacted them again to see if they would either refund me or get the store I purchased it from to send them my broken case and they could replace my case with one they had in stock( surprise they had my case!!!!!!) the person by the name of Henry ( yeah im going to call OUT EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE EMPLOYE i was dealing with) said that they contacted the "makers" and would be mailing me a case within 2-4 weeks ( note this date October 19th) I also got an email form Hahna that same day that i would get it in 2 weeks, I emailed her back and told her that I spoke with Henry and would like to be UPDATED if anything else were to go wrong. I waited the four because I figure since they said on the phone it was coming from china it would take a bit longer( you know that amazing word that people use its called consideration and most NORMAL humans have consideration when companies are doing great things for them) December 5th Rolls around now my friends that is over a month.. I get an email saying that they are reviewing my file. WAIT BACK IT UP! pump those breaks screech them tires! Ya'll told me on OCTOBER 19th 2-4 weeks on the phone i should have a case! and in an email id get one in 2 weeks no if my math is incorrect please correct me that is now 8 weeks after my last conversation with this "great company" how are ya'll reviewing my file when you guys JUST said that id be getting my case? emailed them that day saying it was dealt with i just wanted to know what was going on. I call them now on the 6th to see what happened according to Star the claim was never put in ( so ya'll aren't doing your job) and the inventory manager was on lunch ( cool I was on my lunch as well so i totally get it!) she told me that someone would get back to me I said okay can they email me I can't really take phone calls as I am working. waited that day. waited on the 7th waited on the 8th. Now my patients are warn thin so I call them 5pm EST im done work I got blue tooth and Im driving home now. I cant remember this Beautiful gems name she was super kind she pushed me concerns to the manager and inventory manager. telling them Im being ping ponged and told me a manger would get back to me, Lets just ad in she said they were all sent home and she was working from home. so it is now Dec 18th 1400 EST I call email them I call them...guess what everyone NO ONE IS THERE! you best believe i left a nasty voice mail! I will NEVER! and i say this with the most passionate hearty possible deal with this HORRIBLE company again! you guys disgust me with how UNORGANIZED you all are. the lest you all can do is put in your emails an automatic bounce back emails saying the office is closed or even on the voice mail so your customers are not sitting there with there hopes held high that you guys will answer.

Maybe expectations are too high or maybe its just I am expecting an answer ( rather an acknowledgment that they are looking into it) the time line to me to long of a distance.

Let's just update everyone as to what is going on. 2 days later I get an email from Star apologizing. For all of the confusion. And a phone call I missed it. They said they were sending out my case. They are giving me 2 cases ( this is December 20th) I call her back and she tells me my case was only made for certain. Stores and was. A limited time ( NO WHERE ON MY BOX DID IT SAY THAT)( I call donkey on that one) I find it HILARIOUS I write a review they clearly see it and BAM my cases are in inventory look at that MAGIC. I got a bunch of emails sayo ng it's been sent I went to go track it and I can't. I can't even log into my account. They want me to. Review them on their site I Wil wait until I get my cases. IF I get them..

Terrible company

Terrible company. Received 2 items, both damaged, with no paperwork in the packet.

Sent an email. No reply. Sent another. No reply. Sent a third...you get the picture.

Same non-reply on FB, Twitter etc.
May as well have thrown my money in the bin.

No contact number so they are just the worst kind of company to buy from. AVOID.
