Our house move has been the most stressful experience but throughout Carringtons have been absolutely amazing offering support and efficiency far beyond my expectations.
Their staff at the Harlow office simply cannot do enough for you and they are an absolute credit to their company. A more efficient and helpful team of people will be very hard to find. Caitlin especially is a star!

Bad company to deal with
Really not a company I am happy to worth with. If I didn’t have to I wouldn’t deal with them. They give you a yearly fee if you own a property to “manage” your building. It’s almost £1200 and I have seen very little done in the past three years I’ve lived here. The carpet in Longtown court is MELTED! I called them and they really care. I have gone through a list from the yearly letter I was given and not a lot has been done. Even before COVID-19 they didn’t seem to care about my building. They do not care about the properties they manage. I have to deal with them through email now because there was a fire scare around Xmas and the man I spoke to was incredibly rude to me. If you can you should AVOID them at all costs! If I could give less than I did I would!

Having investigated this matter for you, we appreciate that a number of services have taken place over the past three years at your development, including but not limited to: internal redecorations; external redecorations; the re-tarmacking of car park areas; and the re-painting of parking spaces. We also recognise that a number of the expense categories pertaining to your development’s annual expenditure do not produce visible results, but are nevertheless conducted. This has included, but is once again not limited to: the insurance of your building; the use of communal utility services, such as electricity; the monthly flick-testing of emergency lighting systems; and the provision of annual risk assessments.
We understand that a member of our team proceeded to reach out to you directly upon receipt of your review to learn more about your experience. They also provided you with clarification and regular updates in relation to the maintenance concerns that you had raised. We did not choose this company- with property management companies there is little choice involved. As Jed repeatedly for a works schedule in the past but thus is not supplied. Monthly fee risen by £30 per month - this is a huge increase and we had to ask why this was with an unsatisfactory answer. Customer service patchy by email and not always courteous by phone

I'm a landlord with tenants in a block…
I'm a landlord with tenants in a block managed by Carringtons. They always respond to all my requests in a very timely manner and have always resolved (or tried to at least) any issues that are within their power to do so ie communal sky box needs repair, communal carpets need replacing, issues with unsociable neighbours (by contacting landlords etc) and it seems to me they really want to do the right thing and, in my experience so far, always contactable. I'm very happy with the service they continue to provide and feel secure that if anything crops up, i can send an email and obtain a resolution if it is required.
