Very friendly guy greeted us as we walked in, got some information from us, I told him that it was for the stairs and landing and showed him my diagram and measurements, he showed us what was best for us and then showed us some remnants for a cheaper option, we were shown a really nice looking hard wearing one and knocked off 25% for that day, I also asked if there would be enough to do my hallway which there was, he also offered us a very nice thick underlay too. We are very pleased with what we got and the fitters were quick to arrive and get the job done quickly.

When we originally contacted this company to arrange a quote they seemed very helpful. However, that was the last time.

To begin with they arrived several hours late to the appointment to measure the space in our house so we left the development thinking they were not turning up. It transpired that they had in fact arrived a few hours later, ignoring all site safety, and entered the gated area to walk into the house.

Despite better judgement, we continued to use this company. The next issue was that we had no contact from them until the day before our carpet was due to be fitted - over two months later. They claimed on the phone that the supplier had ‘mis-delivered’ our carpet and requested that we head down to the showroom to look for a replacement carpet. Once we arrived, they stated that “the ginger P****’ had ordered the wrong carpet”, which is highly unprofessional.

We were then told we had the choice of a few other carpets within our price range or it would be a 2 week delay to have our carpet fitted. No apologies. No adaptability. No flexibility. This is despite that fact that this was entirely their fault.

We thankfully still liked the carpet and was able to have it fitted the next day. The fitting was generally quite good, but he did leave glue all over the skirting boards - which was not ideal and took a while to remove.

Overall, I would not recommend this company at all and would avoid using them if there is any other options.

We dealt with Hassan at the Chingford branch. He was very thorough in helping us find the right product and telling us about all the options we had. We really loved the outcome!

Dealt with Mike at the Victoria Road Shop in Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent. What a guy sorted us right out!

Went to another well known shop up the road where we had already picked the carpet we wanted, but the bloke was wandering round on his phone when we were ready to order waited 10 minutes and then we walked out.

Walked in to Carpets4Less store asked few questions gave great advice, told us we were picking the wrong type of carpet for the particular room. Advised on the type of carpet and underlay we needed for the feeling we wanted under our feet and we got exactly what we asked for. Delivery didn't take too long either and fitters were spot on as well.

Got a great deal on a carpet from Carpets4Less at a fraction of the price of a similar one I saw at Tapi. After searching in so many places, I found Carpets4Less have an extensive range at really good prices.
Hassan, at the Chingford branch, took great care of everything from start to finish, including helping to put right a fitting issue I had afterwards, genuinely top guy. My only complaint was the fitter I was originally sent. The 2nd fitter Tony was much better. However, the next time I need a carpet, I won’t waste time looking anywhere else.

What can I say 5 stars says it all, used carpets for less in Cambridge who were very helpful and friendly . Today the carpet was laid, perfect job , again polite and friendly , Jack and Arron made a perfect job, even cut the bottom of the door as the carpet and underlay was thick. Very happy, there is a line in the carpet where it was on the roll but Jack assured me that it will disappear. Would have no hesitation to use again. Thank you . 10 out of 10 .

First time we’ve used Carpets4Less and it definitely won’t be our last. Visited the Colchester store earlier this month and felt that John and Jay were both friendly and helpful without being at all pushy. Peter did a great job in fitting our bedroom carpet and it looks great. We were very pleased with the whole process from start to finish.
