Carpet One Floor & Home - Huntsville Reviews 

I was thinking of getting vinyl plank flooring (VPF) for our kitchen and dining room. I worked with Kathy and she came out to inspect our floor and give us an estimate. Because we had particle board for underlayment and over the years had swelled and also left dips she said that VPF needed even flooring. So she got Randy who is boss of the installers to come out and inspect what would be needed. He noticed that we had asbestos squares underneath the linoleum that had been installed and so he said the best thing to do was to put down luan boards and then vinyl flooring on top. Carpet one has carpeting, vinyl linoleum flooring, VPF and many more to choose from. On the installation day the three installers came out at exact time and helped in moving the furniture and appliances(we agreed to pay for this beforehand)
and they then took up the linoleum. They then took 2 - 3 hours of prepping the floor to get it even. They put in the luan, (using so many nails or brads to make sure luan and the asbestos squares under would never come up). We had breaks in the old linoleum where particle board and asbestos squares over the years crimped and made break in the middle of the floor. They installed the quarter round and now it is perfectly done and level. Great job!!!

Walking into Carpet One was the best decision we made. Chad was incredibly easy to work with. So helpful in every aspect. They have more than enough to choose from. We replaced our wood floors and upgraded our bathroom. Their tile guy is awesome! Very polite and a perfectionist in his craft. t­ was a great experience!

We looked at 3 companies when we decided to get new carpet and hardwood floors. One company was quite a bit cheaper. We looked for reviews on line about the carpet and the company. The carpet had bad reviews regarding the quality and and installation problems! By far, Carpet One was the most impressive. Carl was very knowledgeable and professional! The carpet and wood floor was installed last week. It’s more beautiful than I expected. Dan and Jody did the instillation. The both had years of experience and did an awesome job. Carpet One had great reviews on line. I will use them again and highly recommend!

Carpet One helped us sell our condo fast!

We were in the process of updating a 1 bedroom condo in southeast Huntsville in hopes of selling it fast. We went to Carpet One after being frustrated by our experiences at Home Depot and Lumber Liquidators (bad measurements, dealing with multiple points of contact for handling estimates and installation).

The owner, Matt Morris, greeted us in the store and showed a few different possibilities to meet our needs for updated floors and countertops. He was able to meet us at the condo after business hours the next business day, where he took measurements and provided estimates for multiple options. Ultimately, we decided to have Carpet One install new Luxury Vinyl Plank floors and granite countertops. They completed installation within 2 weeks. Everything was clean and beautiful, and Carpet One was professional and responsive in every aspect.

Upon listing the property for sale, it generated immediate interest and was shown multiple times in the first few days. It was listed on a Friday, we had multiple offers by Tuesday, and had it under contract for slightly over our asking price on Wednesday. We believe we easily recouped the investment we made with flooring and countertops from Carpet One plus about an additional 30%.

I went in and talked to Matt, told him the colors that we just had painted in our house and asked what would look the best. He took me to a beautiful carpet. Working with Carpet One was a wonderful experience. Deborah had such a good eye for design and helped us find exactly what we needed within the budget and price range we wanted to spend. We had wood flooring, carpet and granite counter tops installed. The crews did excellent jobs, cleaned up after they were finished, and made sure we were satisfied with their work. Carpet One has a great selection of flooring and even better sales representatives that can narrow down your choices. The sales representatives answered all my questions. If they didn't know the answer, they went in search for the answers. The carpet layers were prompt, courteous, and did an awesome job putting in the padding and carpet!

I had Carpet One put in hardwood floors a few years ago and just had them lay carpet in the rest of the house. From the sale to the installation was a great experience. The men who put in my hardwood and carpet were professional, courteous and showed an unbelievable attention to detail. They went above and beyond what was expected. We chose the Coretec flooring throughout the main living areas along with carpet for the bedrooms. Carpet One also offers a great selection of tile and granite. We chose two beautiful pieces of granite for countertops and Matt showed us the perfect tile backsplash to coordinate with them.

The service does not end at the store when you pay for your purchase - our installer was pleasant, polite, very quick and even cleaned up before he left. Matt sent me an email that next morning to make sure that we were happy and loved our new floors that were just installed.

We have four fur babies and they are tough on everything. We removed the carpet in our living room and installed LVT. It's pretty tuff stuff. When we are home they have run of the house, literally. LVT is easy to clean after those little mishaps, and they don't leave claw marks when playing. Sherry Johnson was very helpful when I was trying to decide on this flooring. Actually twice, I liked it so well, we replaced the carpet in the bedroom with LVT.
The installers were professional and friendly and cleaned up after themselves.
Next project will be a kitchen upgrade. Carpet One has cabinets, granite, tile and of course tile look LVT, I will certainly be going to see them again.

I will call Carpet One for any future carpet, flooring and countertops. Great people to work with.
