I booked a car weeks in advance and had to cancel because of the death of a close one, which happened the Saturday before the booking which was planned for Monday. Since it was less than 48 hours before, even by a couple of hours, they refused the cancellation and pocketed the full amount of 233 Euros. I exchanged with their chat, which sounded like a bot and kept repeating because it was less than 48 hours, their general conditions stipulates they will not grant a refund. No empathy for the situation, no flexibility and no will to find an agreeable solution. I am sure they will answer this review by saying their general condition allows them to rip you off of the entire rental price, even in case of death. I deleted my account.

Unfortunately, your delivery colleagues arrive late way too often... Last time, it was 45min late and that caused me to be 1h30min late for my meeting as traffic was much worse after the delay. Also, I was charged for "damage" to a side mirror which I did not cause and contested but Auto Sur refused to acknowledge their error and charged me Euros 90 for this alleged damage. Last but not least I was sent a speeding ticket for the car I rented but it was not me who was driving as I had returned the car at 20:00 and the speeding ticket was incurred at 01:23 in the morning the next day! I had to write a letter with evidence that I was not the driver... all because your service did not verify that I was no longer renting the car when it was found to be speeding. All these issues make me very reluctant to give Carlili a good rating and to use your service going forward. Kind regards, E. Noeltner

Disaster ; booked a car which got validated at the time of the booking just to get cancelled one hour before!! Mentioned that my card did not get accepted while they debited my account at the time of the booking and reimbursed me later. Even got a text message the night before telling me someone will deliver the car lol! Just amazing. And you have no phone number to chat to anyone just a computerised chat box. I suspect they did not have the car available or the driver pulled out last minute. Anyway a premium service which is actually nothing else than rubbish. Avoid at all costs.

They made a payment on my card without my authorisation months after the location was completed. I could not reach any one online or on the phone to contest. Do not use this company.

First time we tried this service. Absolute very positive experience, attractive rates, punctual delivery and pick up. Will use this service definitely in the future

I am coming as a customer with 2 experiences with them, both terrible in terms of reliability of the service. First time the car was 2h late. Second time, today, I ordered in andvance, the earliest possibility they had 08:00 in the morning and I paid extra for a baby seat. Not only it is 08:50 and no signs of the car arriving but they called to inform the baby seat is not available. In my first experience they came back to me very nicely and even reimbursed me the first day, which I thought was just something that can happen. Now the second time and delivering a car for a family with no child seat…… I cannot describe my frustration enough… also the fact I will be late for the day I committed to attend.

I recently had a very bad experience with them. The vehicle is not comfortable for 7 persons and the vehicle delivered totally different from pictures they advertised.
Vehicle delivered with not enough Adblue we have called the delivery person and informed him that there is an error on the dashboard and ask about it and told us not to bother the notification. At first we have purchased extra mileage and they should known that the Adblue they have in the car is not enough and as tourist they did not inform us that we need to put more Adblue which supposed to be their responsibility and suddenly the vehicle stopped in the mountain a middle of nowhere. We have called them to solve the problem and they just passed us to different people and we are hopeless to this company. Luckily there are good Samaritan French people passing by and help us using their vehicle to find and buy more Adblue for almost 4km from our location to the stores.

Car delivered with a flat tire. Had to wait 1h30min for another car to be delivered.
Drove the car around France for 20 days, and did rush to return the car to the deposit point (and to wait for the staff 15min to come and collect the car). Skipping the car cleaning inside, they ended up charging an abusive 100€ for the dust that was left inside the car !
Just another car rental company that enjoy charging your credit card for whatever reason once you return the vehicle.

Today i got my 2nd rental from Carlili... The car is always clean, few scratches on the outside but no big issues, took the premium insurance so i dnt have to worry abt stuff and its less expensive than other car rental companies... The carsitters are always friendly as well, and they deliver you the car exactly where u want... I recommend it for sure

This is a revolutionary way of renting a car. The vehicle was dropped and collected right in front my home. The deliverer was polite and punctual. You are charged for the delivery and collection service; however, because the basic rate for the rental is set at an moderate level, the final cost is not more than the rate from the conventional rental company. Clever idea with a brilliant execution. Loved the whole experience.

Best car service in Paris.

I rented it for a solo camping trip and it exceeded all expectations. As a frequent car renter it felt amazing to have the car dropped off at my door and picked up when I was done.

I will be a loyal returning customer for sure !

Horrible experience:

1. Car arrived late
2. Despite this CArlili wanted me to give it back on time (???)
3. Dirty inside
4. countless issues outside, scratches, broken parts
5. Extremely unpolite call center. Young dude that was constantly interrupting me while talking. He could not hear at all what I was saying
6. I could not talk to them as the line was just ringing (so not busy) and nobody picking up.
7. They have hidden costs, so be careful of what you think you will pay

So I really recommend to go to Sixt, Hertz, anywhere but not here!

Even in a last minute booking, Carlili had a choice of cars and the service is just perfect and amazing!
