I do recommend

I recently bought some carbolic soap, after hearing about all the benefits and I’m highly impressed. the smell is a smell I’ve smelled before but never knew. It’s like smelling it unlocked some sort of memory or managed some sort of underlying anxiety. it’s really nostalgic. like the lingering floral of an art room or my grandparents attic or basement. either way, I don’t ever wanna stop using it. I was never big on excessive bathing and I bought this soap as a way to manage my body acne but I’ve grown so fond of the smell that I find myself constantly in the shower.. almost three times a day. I do recommend this soap, however beware. If you grow as fond of the scent as I have, you may find yourself vigorously cleaning around your home if the aroma of your house doesn’t match how your body/soap smells.

Delayed order and comms issues.

I recently ordered a consignment of carbolic soap from the Carbolic Soap company. In my previous review I expressed my displeasure at having not recieved my order and having no response to my order queries.
Review update. I have now recieved the goods, a postage refund and an explaination for having no response to my order queries, which I have accepted.
I thank Carbolic Soap Company for their response.

Great product, great service, and eco-friendly too

We've bought the 2lb blocks of carbolic soap from The Carbolic Soap Company several times now and have always been very pleased with the product and the service. When my most recent purchase arrived I was delighted to see that the company has now gone plastic-free and eco-friendly – the entire packaging is recycled/recyclable and biodegradable. I'll definitely continue buying carbolic soap from this company – highly recommended.

Old Fashioned Products and Values

I've bought the large blocks of carbolic soap for a while and recommend it highly. With the Covid problems I find it much nicer to use the soap than the other antibacterial liquid soaps on offer and it doesn't dry the skin. My last order was damaged by Royal Mail which I reported to Carbolic S C. By return post they sent out a replacement for the damaged soap and that doesn't happen often these days.

Does not smell like traditional carbolic

Well here's my review. I bought bars of carbolic soap from this company. It arrived as stated. It states that this smells like the old fashioned smell carbolic soap smells like. Well the soap I got smelt nothing like traditional carbolic soap and the bars fall to pieces half way used and so I complained. After several excuses they eventually refunded me for the soap.
What can I say to be fair.... Well, if you want old fashioned carbolic soap as true to original buy redbuoy carbolic soap. It can be bought from most places including jupitersoaps.com and is 100 times better than here In my honest opinion.

WASH HANDS WITH CARBOLIC SOAP

Current situation requires lots of hand washing. Last Sunday I ordered (on line) a 1 lb block of carbolic soap from Carbolic Soap Company, it arrived today wrapped in newspaper within used brown corrugated cardboard. The soap is the same as I remember it in the 40's/50's, just have to cut into small blocks. It was cheaper to buy than anti bacterial hand washes and wont be as drying. Within the package was a card which said: Thank you for your order. We are a plastic free company. All out mail packaging is recyclable, FSC accredited & biodegradable. We re-use paper rather than bubble wrap, to pack your order. Our aim is to re-use old boxes or packaging to send orders out so please do not be offended. Our postage labels are paper and we use paper tape. All our Carbolic Soaps are 'naked' unwrapped.
A truly old fashioned company with ethics to match. By the way, they sell other soaps and Reckitts blue bags - now there's a thing.
