I found out that my appointment was set for 10:50 PM (so at night). Never ever heard of that before.
Doctor never called.
Reception never called to say why.
They have no phone number and only call you on a private number so thats useless 1 way communication.
Just avoid them. Go with a company that isnt just in it for your money.
Less competent than a drug dealer.
UPDATE: They said that the doctor had attempted to call me. My phone has been next to me all day. Missed calls show up as missed.
They are bullshitting me and calling me the liar.

Been a customer for a few years. Company is rubbish now. Paid for my 6 month checkup over a month ago. No response to my checkup and no reply to any of my messages / emails to the nurse or support team. Avoid Candor at all costs!

Terrible experience. Have since changed providers. 3 Doctor consults and no scripts, unable to speak to anyone except the online chat in which it takes days or weeks for a response. Note. I already had scrips and a treatment plan in place prior to Candor taking over. I literally paid $80 for months of stuff around sand stress with nothing to show for it.

I booked a check up for my scripts at the start of July and I have not heard back from anyone about when the appointment with the doctor will be. I’ve sent 3 emails, messaged both the support chat and the nurse chat and still had no response. Beyond disappointing as I’ve been using Candor for quite a while and always had a good experience prior to this. I’ve made an appointment to look into going elsewhere as this is beyond frustrating to have literally no response from them at all

Update 20/08/2025 I have since had this resolved, wherein a consult, script renewal, and medication were arranged within a week. My hope is that Candor have taken onboard this type of feedback and implement changes to ensure a more positive and responsive experience. CONSUMER BEWARE: Similar to others that have complained about their poor turn-around time. Having begun this process a close to a month ago, they offered me an opportunity to make a booking only to discover the entire motnh of August is already booked out with no opportunity to book for September. So at this point, I will be at least 7 weeks since my fee was collected, no booking, and resigned to a "wait and see" if I can even get an appointment for September.

Candor took payment from me at the start of July to speak to a Dr and renew my scripts. Four weeks later NOTHING! What once was one of the best clinics in Australia has turned into the worst. Payment should not be taken until consultation is completed. The trust has been lost. Absolutely terrible experience.

In February the company was sold to Vitura Health Limited.
Vitura are completely incompetent. Since the acquisition wait times for routine consults have gone from 2-3 days to 4-6 weeks if you're lucky.
Instead of spending time actually doing the work their customers pay them to do, they are writing back to every negative review as doing so allows them to maintain their 4.7 star rating on google.
They are also still accepting money for consults whilst being incapacitated to provide any kind of medical service.
Thousands of people are between scripts with no medication due to the greed of Vitura.

What used to be a great clinic, has turned into the worst medicinal clinics in Australia, you can’t even get a response from nurses, no appointments for at least 28 days (that’s if you’re lucky) and if you want a discharge letter? Good luck!! Because they won’t reply
Edit: I’ve tried emailing, nurse chat and even the stupid bot who says type HUMAN and it will connect me to a human, and guess what? No human reaches out. Is this how you treat your customers?

I paid for a checkup with Candor Medical expecting to be contacted within 24 hours, but I didn’t hear anything for over 3 weeks. Every step—booking the consult, getting a prescription—has taken more than 3 weeks or more! No follow‑up messages, no updates—just radio silence.
You then eventually get an appointment with a doctor, you feel relived, the phone call goes well you get told all your medication is sorted and will be sent to you. No... boy was i wrong it then takes days to receive the script/s after your appointment, and dare you ask for updates or what's going on, you won't hear anything back!
This leaves you without your medication that you cannot abruptly stop, now you have no medication, and are left with chronic pain, and PTSD
I tried messaging multiple times and got nothing but generic responses, or nothing at all. This matches a lot of other reviews: Trustpilot users say Candor “typically takes over 1 month to reply” and describe the support as “absolutely non‑responsive” or “a scam”—taking your money and leaving you waiting
Honestly, it feels like once they charge your card, you're forgotten. If you need help fast or decent customer service, Candor does not deliver.

I have been a customer with Candor for nearly 2 years now, and I have never experienced such bad wait times and lack of response as I have this past month!
I submitted a check-up for my regular medication on the 6th of July, and emailed support on the 21st to ask why I hadn't heard anything, only for support to tell me they don't have any answers for me. They advised me to message the nurse, which I did on the 24th July, but its been 5 days of radio silence.
I'm really shocked as Candor used to be mega-efficient, with a max waiting time of 5 days to speak with a doctor. Super disappointed and would warn anyone against using them in the future.
Used to be a well run company until the ownership changes.
2.7.24 - Paid for a check up consult
21.7.24 - No news. No ability to book the consult ive already paid for yet.
22.7.24 - I emailed the candor manager and was given the ability to book an appt. Had phone consult with Dr. All good.
28.7.24 - Still havent received scripts. Unresponsive.
Was a loyal customer of candor for years now, just to have nothing but a bot reply to me once in three weeks. I've been basically begging for the consultation since they took $60. I have never had such a lack of service, especially from a company that supposedly "expanded". It's just pure negligence and laziness from candors side, dont waste your time. You'll just have to go without, not get a response from a human AND be put of pocket.
SIMPLY appalled by CANDOR, as a patient of CDA for 3yrs, once transferred unwillingly I have been TOTALLY cut off by CANDOR, they need a law suit filed AGAINST them, screwing up 3yrs treatment by their affiliated company, duty of care, compassionate circumstance, all violated!!!!!!
Duty of care is to at least speak too the patient, not steal THEIR money till the seams burst and you are labelled as YOU labelled me, not worthy!

I have been waiting for weeks and have already paid my dr fee. I continually get bot inspired 'sorry' emails but with no time references or any future possibilities of an appointment. Am seriously considering discharging fromthis service and finding another provider. Unfortunately I cannot give a good review. So frustrating and my symptoms have sky rocketed through the roof

If I could give 0 I would. I have been a patient of candor for nearly 2 years and for some reason the service this time round has been APPALLING, I think since they made changes to the company. I have never waited so long for a prescription call before (3+ weeks) and I was without prescription for 6 weeks. The support chat and the nurse chat is unresponsive. The dr eventually did my prescription and put through the incorrect scripts. No one has responded to my messages regarding this. Will be changing services after this

Although the process was slower than usual this time, I was eventually contacted by Angela from the support team, who was very helpful in getting things back on track. Once the appointment was booked, Dr Turner was as professional as always and had me sorted and back on my feet the same day.

Edit to update: they refunded me and sent the discharge letter. I had been asking all along what the wait time was for a consult but question was never answered. They only did this after I said I was lodging a complaint with fair trading it seems. No offer of an urgent appointment which I have read in here and other sites they offered to others. So it is true, they truly don’t care about losing long term clients. I am so disappointed and disheartened with this.
Editing also to add: insert chat bot/ai response “really sorry to hear this (as if it’s the FIRST time learning about it lol) - this is not what we want for our customers at all. We know that we are doing the wrong thing but we will keep doing it at the cost of long term customers. We will remodel and be incompetent and uncontactable during this time, however able to read emails that mention dept of fair trading.”
All the low reviews are true, I’m experiencing this right now, as an unmedicated long term client. They will charge your card and give you no idea when the consult will be. When you message support asking a question you get referred to the nurses who never reply. This increases irritation after such a good thing in the past. They really should have a thing in their website BEFORE you pay, letting victims know they have NO idea when your consult will be, and if you’re happy to wait 1000 years as you’re in “the queue” and a “priority” they will be with you “soon.” So many red flags here it’s a carpet. Actually they would know it’s over a month wait, but letting us know that will cause us to complain and leave. Well that’s what I’m doing. I have asked for a refund and discharge letter and I am not logging into the website anymore to waste time being told to wait.
I have lodged a complaint with dept of fair trading for my payment, lack of communication and a discharge letter. I want to be banned off the site. I want nothing to do with this company and am embarrassed I have been with them. You wouldn’t let your family members go unmedicated or waiting for help, but happy to do it the medical community. Well done guys. I’ve signed up with another company in the timeframe I have been waiting for any communication. Discharge letter and refund PLEASE
