After hearing glowing recommendations from friends and seeing consistently excellent reviews, I decided to start my motorcycle training with Camrider Sawston on the 6th of February. I’m happy to say I passed my MOD1 on the first attempt and, as of today, passed my MOD2 first time as well.

Before signing up I visited the site, and Vicky at reception immediately made a great impression. She was extremely friendly, welcoming, and patiently answered all of my questions, which really helped me feel confident about choosing Camrider.

In terms of value for money, Camrider is slightly more expensive per training hour compared to some other providers in the area. However, having completed the course, I can honestly say it was worth every penny. The quality of instruction is outstanding. I trained with both Aaron and Matt, mostly with Matt, and both are incredibly talented, patient, and dedicated instructors. They clearly hold students to the same high standards. Personally I preferred Matt’s teaching style, but that’s purely down to individual preference as both instructors are excellent.

The overall atmosphere is fantastic. The team creates a friendly, supportive, almost family-like environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

The training facilities are very good. Slow manoeuvres are practised on site, while the faster MOD1 manoeuvres take place off site on a private road. One thing to note is that students don’t practise on a full regulation-sized MOD1 course until the day of the test itself. For me personally this didn’t make any difference at all to my ability to execute the manoeuvres.

There was one occasion where the service could have been slightly better, when a training session had to be cancelled last minute due to instructor sickness. Ideally I would have appreciated earlier notice, although I understand the team may have been trying to arrange alternatives at the time. Interestingly, many of my later sessions ended up being one-to-one with Matt, which actually contributed significantly to my progress and learning.

One area where Camrider could improve would be diversity within the instructor team. Currently it feels somewhat stereotypical with one woman handling administrative duties while all instructors are male. It would be great to see efforts made to recruit a female instructor and promote more diversity within the training staff.

Overall, I genuinely really enjoyed my experience with Camrider. Every member of staff I interacted with was friendly and professional. A sincere thank you to Matt, followed by Aaron, for helping me through my learning journey. Their training clearly paid off and was reflected in my MOD2 evaluation today.

I would highly recommend Camrider to anyone looking to learn to ride.

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience doing my DAS with Camrider Bedford. The team was so friendly and supportive, and they made me feel comfortable from the start. I learned so much in a short time and actually enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you for helping me pass!

Good very nice

Camrider peterborough and my tutors made me feel a part of the family. They guided me from CBT to DAS part 1 pass and part 2 pass in very little time.
I would recommend them over and over again.
Great knowledge base and willing to share that skill with you to keep you safe and have fun.

Fantastic experience from my CBT all the way to A licence. Ben was great teaching the CBT, very thorough and in good preparation for further training. Adrian took me through my mod 1 &2 and I couldnt have asked for better. Everyone was a pleasure from start to finish, including the boss Jim, to Steve one of the other instructors for his tips and encouragment. Would highly recommend. You wont get better . Tony

Just passed my Direct Access with Camrider Norwich and I’ve had a great experience. I think I met most of the instructors on different days and they were all fantastic. Their knowledge, patience and friendliness has been really appreciated. I really never thought in my late 50’s that I would become a biker but their support has helped me pass with no problems at all. Thankyou to all of you

Big thanks to Camrider for helping me and my mate pass the DAS course together, both Mod 1 and Mod 2 completed without any anxiety or nerves. The instructors were patient and made the whole process enjoyable.

I did my CBT at camrider in Ipswich. I had john and Warren for the days training and I couldn't have been happier. Really nice guys and really put you at ease. I had a 1to1 ride on the road with john and I had such a laugh with him. Really great place to learn. Thanks again guys ❤️

Today I lost £199.

I booked a CBT lesson, arrived with 24 minutes late, I have been told to go home.
I talked to the administration I told them I understood that I was late because of human circonstance. Nothing to do with them they just sit on my £199 saved for about a month. They didn't let me continue the lesson, didn't accept even I pay for late fee, didn't accept for me to schedule for another days (that's the moment they told me I lost my money).
I talk to them with all the respect I have for human but like a robot in they big aire they repeated me the same thing. "Its your bad your late and you lose".

Today's big lesson not every human, human.

I passed my Mod 2 and it was great experience at Camrider Harlow. Instructors Duncan and Tony are great explaining about riding and tips to pass the tests, what to expect and practice in the areas where the Mod 2 test is being done. Instructors are truly have the biker attitude and the specific tribe all bikers needs to be. Thanks again, I would recommend to contact Camrider to everyone for motorbike trainings. -- Dilip Patel

I completed my training and passed my Mod 1 & 2 with Camrider Bedford. The team that taught me Dale, Katie and Mike were brilliant. Cannot forget Sally who organised my training. I would highly recommend Camrider Bedord.

I trained with John for my CBT and he was so friendly and welcoming to the two of us training that day. He made us both feel welcome and calmed our nerves. His instructions were excellent. Very clear and precise. I liked the fact that he did’t miss any of our mistakes and showed us how to correct for them. Plus he was very encouraging. I did pass that day. When I’m able, I’m going to go back for more training. I want to gain my full motorcycle licence. Hopefully I can do the training with him. I’d just like to say ‘’Thank you John, for making this such an enjoyable experience!’’ I hope to be back soon. I did the training back in January, but have been ill since then, hence my late review!

I completed my DAS with Camrider Bedford in February, I had Mike and Katie as my instructors. Their knowledge and instruction was very professional and they guided me through each skill expertly to bring me up to the standard required for the Mod1 & 2. They were both patient and helped me work on my confidence and any skills I needed to work on, on top of that they made everything feel relaxed and enjoyable! Thanks to them and everyone at Camrider Bedford I passed both Mods with only 1 fault. I would highly recommend Camrider Bedford, it is worth every penny, they have a great training site and fleet of new/almost new bikes and kit, they have given me a solid foundation of skills and confidence for my Biking journey! Thanks very much!!

Well after 43 years of wishing I done my test I decided to go for it, so glad I chose camrider Corby, completed my CBT the experience was very good then after a few months went for the DAS course, can’t praise these guys enough, Rory and Mike moulded me into someone capable of passing the Mod 1 and Mod 2 first time.
Now I’m 63 so just think what they can do for you, I can’t recommend the instruction and positive experience enough, the information extended to heated socks lol ask them anything and you will get advice derived from 30 + years of experience, just bought my big bike couldn’t of realised that dream without the whole team behind Camrider, Thankyou.

I recently completed my Mod1 and Mod2 with Camrider Bedford (plus my cbt with them last year). I cannot recommend this training school enough! Every one of the instructors are welcoming and friendly. Special shoutout to Mike for his encouragement with a nervous student and making me feel at ease going to test. They are all thorough and knowledgeable, while helping you gain confidence along the way. If you are umming and arring about booking a cbt or for your DAS, and not sure whether to or where to go, give them a shout, you won’t be disappointed.
