For someone who’s not to good with technology I found the booking system easy enough

I don't ever write reviews but this place was very bad and notable needed people to be aware before they book. I had been here twice, once in 2024 . On this second occasion we decided never to go back again . Strengths: good pool, clean and well maintained caravans and mediocre entertainment . weaknesses: terrible customer service from the manager following anti social guest behaviour , staff generally ok, entertainment is the same things most nights ,e.g bingo, then kids disco , then in house team as main acts with sprinkling of booked acts, very hot and cramped main entertainment venue, food seemingly microwaved and poor quality for the price ( see attached receipt of inflated prices) virtually non existent offering of activities outside of the pool. one evening , directly outside our caravan a drunken 16 year old had been physically restrained by 2 male police , directly in front of several children who were onlooking , she was screaming whilst being bundled into a police car . My children did not want to go outside after watching this unfold, so we left the site and spent the day and evening in newquay 15 mins drive away ( poor bus route to the beach from Hendra) . My complaint the next day was met by the manager with a robotic stance, and blaming the customers , including me with his stock response there is nothing i can say to change your mind , when i asked for a reasonable refund of one night , due to going off site , therefore not using the booked facilities and sleepless night due to children having nightmares of the event, he flatly refused. Very poor empathy and unreasonable refusal , he definately could do with customer service training to improvise his people skills , as the culture from the manager trickles down into workplace culture . If you want poor customer service when things go wrong and inflated food prices for poor food and below standard amenities and entertainment the Hendra is for you . Otherwise i recommend the much superior Golden Coast holiday park in Woolacombe and seal bay in selsey chichester , they are both excellent in comparison for similar prices . Beware of Hendra!

Easy to book and great value

Very impressive, booked 2 Motorhomes and sailed through the booking, first time I’ve used this site and I’m quite sure it won’t be the last. Thankyou Darren

Booked a serviced pitch through your website. When we finally found the place...no entrance sign and after phone calls, all 5 serviced pitches were occupied. Rang again, he said to set up on non serviced and he'd come and sort it. Presumed he'd bring an extension cable...just turned up with an adapter. No apology or explanation except maybe someone else had taken our pitch but wasn't willing to go and find out if that was the case...as it was nonsense. Blaming your website and even trying to say we had set up too far away...what from the pitch we'd booked!? He said set up tonight give you £5 off a night and I'll sort the hook up in the morning it's no inconvenience. Don't tell me its not an inconvenience, it's not what I booked and paid for. Because it was 9.30 in the evening by then I think he thought we'd just accept it...told him refund and we're going. He then proceeded to ask if my name was 'karen' which is highly offensive. So he got told what I thought of him. So if you rightfully complain about terrible service you must be a 'karen'? This experience reflects badly on your website. The guy whoever he was, was dismissive, offensive, arrogant and didn't know what he was doing. Double booking on multiple sites...
Avoid, especially if you're a woman. I expect a full refund immediately. 'Signed 'Karen'

NOTHING HAS BEEN 'RESOLVED'...WANNABE BULLY SITE OWNER REFUSING TO GIVE ME A REFUND BECAUSE I STOOD UP TO HIM...A WOMAN!!! CAMPSITES SAY THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO!!! SO THERE IS NO POINT BOOKING THROUGH THEM. I DIDN'T GET THE SERVICE I PAID FOR THROUGH YOUR WEBSITE.

Well explained site information & easy booking

Love the variety of sites available on here and the ease of booking. Fabulous customer service from Alexandra who dealt with an error I'd made with my booking. Phone answered within a few rings and fuss free.

The site is easy to use, however I've removed one star as the site was showing availability on the days I needed but it would not let me book as a block, with no explanation, so I will beed to return and make two further separate bookings.
