Super week's holiday on Henriette
Had a super week's holiday on Henriette. Small boat, but like a Tardis inside. Everything you could need, and very comfortable.
Really enjoyed our week.

Welcome to Bygone Boating. We are in a niche sector of the boat hire / holiday market, hiring out only classic motor cruisers, mostly wooden. Just the 2 of us, so a personal experience - we know the boats inside out! Hope you enjoy using our special boats - Henriette - built in 1948, Rubette - probably similar, Bernadette - built in 1952, Claudette - built in 1965 and Evette - built in 1973! Come and experience the Thames at a leisurely pace, and all but Rubette can be taken up to the upper Thames, beyond Osney Bridge.

Really enjoyed our week.
We had a lovely week on Bernadette 2. A 70 year old classic wooden cruiser. However very well fitted out and with all the mod cons you would expect in a modern boat. Geoff and Sue who run the company were very welcoming and helpful. It was a challenging week weather wise but when the sun came out it was lovely to be cruising down the Thames on a classic boat. One of the few larger boats that can access the upper Thames under Osney bridge. Great pub stops and mooring up miles from anywhere it was a truly memorable week. Highly recommended.
