So overall it was a good experience with transparency, lots of detail, etc. While you knocked the grade on my MacBook Air down one notch, you explained why and I felt that was fair. I also had priced it at both "good" and "fair" and while I thought it was good, I noted the "fair" price and that's what you offered so it wasn't just like an arbitrary cut.
The one area for improvement is a little quicker turnaround but there you did communicate that you were running behind and it was within the new time you had promised.
Payment was prompt and as expected.
Also, I had compared your price to prices on eBay and after taking into account the cut eBay would take, your price was very good for a more convenient option for selling my device.
Will use you guys again!

Like-new phone, received full promised payment
I had a fairly new phone to sell and BuyBackTronics offered the best price for it. I hadn't heard of them prior to doing a Google search so I was a little skeptical. I thought maybe they'd be like other companies that give you a great price upfront, before they have your item, but then once they have the item in-hand, then lower the payout. Well, BuyBackTronics isn't one of those companies.
I sent my phone, they evaluated it and sent me the full agreed on price. No deductions. I opted for a check and I received it in a timely manner. I am very, very pleased with BuyBackTronics.

As a senior citizen on a fixed income, it is nice to find a way to make a few extra dollars, but selling online can be a bit risky. I was told I would get $95.00 for my…
I was told I would get $95.00 for my old Mac. but, I received nothing. They told me there were problems with the device but I had no issues using it...it worked fine. I only changed over to a new model because I found it too heavy. So, I would develop some type of online review of the Mac one wants to trade for a few bucks to save time for consumer. I took time to pack it all up, take it to the ups store for nothing.

We are disappointed that this transaction did not work out, especially as this was your very first experience with BuyBackTronics.com. That said, we appreciate the opportunity to provide some context publicly.
The device submitted was a 2015 MacBook Pro (MacBookPro11,4) and was selected at checkout as being in “Good” condition with a healthy battery.” For MacBooks, a healthy battery specifically indicates the battery retains 80% or more of its original capacity. The tentative quote of $95 shown at checkout is based on the device meeting those published condition guidelines.
During inspection, our evaluation team identified several issues that unfortunately affected the value of the device. The MacBook was found to have a battery that could not hold an adequate charge, noticeable wear to the keyboard and exterior, two missing rubber feet, and four missing screws on the bottom panel, which caused the lower frame to separate. In addition, the display showed bright white pressure spots, most noticeable on lighter backgrounds, and the charger included with the device was heavily yellowed from age and wear. All of these findings were documented in the evaluation notes that were shared with you.
Given the age of the device and its already modest trade-in value, once deductions for the above mentioned issues were factored in, unfortunately no remaining resale value remained for us to make a cash offer. In other words, the device did not qualify for the “Good” condition it was submitted under according to our published grading guidelines.
While the laptop may still power on for basic use, our inspection process evaluates both functional reliability and cosmetic condition based on the resale standards we must meet.
While we are focused on giving devices a second life whenever possible, given the age of the MacBook and the number of issues identified during inspection, there was unfortunately very little salvageable value remaining. In situations like this, we offer customers the option to have the device recycled in an environmentally friendly manner, which was the option presented to you.
We understand it can be frustrating to go through the process and not receive the expected outcome, and we are sorry this transaction did not work out. We do appreciate you giving BuyBackTronics.com a try.

Good selling experience. Payment received when quoted albeit it did take awhile. My only issue I ran into is that if you opt for their shipping/packing materials. It may not fit everything if you're selling multiple consoles. Overall, customer was good and I would use them again in the future.
