DPD 🤯
Ok, to be completely honest, I was supposed to have the delivery on Wednesday, I wasn't at home, the same thing happened on Thursday, I understand the ID requirement, I knew there might be 3 attempts, so I ordered for Friday, took a day off, and no one even left a message and I still don't have the knife.

Thank you for your feedback. While we understand your frustration with the delivery delay, we respectfully disagree with this 1 star review. Our team processed and dispatched your order promptly. Unfortunately, delivery failed on the first two attempts because no one was home to receive the package. The third delivery attempt was an arrangement made directly with DPD, who experienced local delays that day. While we cannot control courier issues after multiple missed attempts.

There were cancellations on delivery
There were cancellations on delivery. The item arrived and wasn't quite what I expected. Larger blade and a little flimsy. The DPD delivery man asked for age id. As im 68 seemed needless. Whatever the id checks it wouldn't preclude misuse. Surely obvious id woukd suffice. The text I received merely required someone 18 plus to sign for the item. So I had to find my driving licence and the driver proceeded to take down details from it.

They went the extra mile for me.
I approached Butchers Equipment Warehouse for a product that I could not find anywhere in the UK.
They went to their supplier in Germany and arranged delivery for me. I was only buying in small amounts but they offered me a good discount on bulk orders.
