I didn't realize I was using this service, but it was awesome. I wanted to get a few bids on my roof and wound up with 5 and all were good and professional people giving me their honest comments. Though the contract wasn't awarded to those recommended, I would use this service for future projects to get bids or comments for one and for two, everyone was professional when I let them know who I awarded the project to. No slander or anything of that sort. I appreciated that.

I was very skeptical to use Buildzoom because I’ve used online resources like this before, but I’ve used them twice now to find contractors and everything went very well. I like how Buildzoom babysits and won’t let up until their customer is happy. It really surprised me how involved they get and want things to go well.

Rock Solid Landscape was great. Repaired my back yard that another contractor failed to do. They are now my gardener and also my parents. Affordable, great communication and attention to detail. Highly recommend.

Simple and easy to post review .

Slow communication, wrong information provided regarding removing a fake review posted on your platform to defame me and my business which, your agent said it was taken down but we still see it ,

This service rates my company a 0 and says it recommends not using me. This is because it has no info other than public information regarding permits I have pulled to go off of. It has no information from customers whom I have built homes for. I am guessing the recommended builders are ones who have paid for an account with this company. I would be very careful of their recommendations as they are apparently based off little information in who knows how many instances like mine.

I needed some work done at my house and did an online search to find out more about my contractor. The BuildZoom website popped up as part of this process, and I was impressed with the amount of information that was available to me, not only about the contractor but also some helpful tips on what to consider when planning a project and/or working with contractor for a project. While not all of the information about the contractor was available on BuildZoom, I am hopefull that this will only get better with time. I believe a website such as BuildZoom has the potential to offer tremendous value to homeowners looking to research various contractors and home renovation projects. Keep up the good work, BuildZoom Team!

We trusted BuildZoom, assuming they thoroughly vet the contractors they recommend. Unfortunately, that trust was misplaced. It turns out their sales reps are essentially marketers—relentlessly calling and pressuring homeowners until a contractor is hired, just to secure their commission.

In my case, BuildZoom reps contacted me every few days for months, pushing me to hire AW Puma Remodeling LLC—a contractor who ultimately took our money and abandoned our renovation project. This contractor has a known pattern of fraud and misconduct with other clients as well.

What’s worse, the BuildZoom rep told me he had personally hired this contractor and that he was “excellent,” which was clearly a lie.

BuildZoom: Please stop prioritizing sales commissions over people’s lives. Your recommendations carry weight—use that responsibility wisely, not carelessly.

Great company with awesome people work with.

Doesn’t pay his workers. Hire immigrants and doesn't pay them for work they’ve done.
