Please avoid this company like the Plague

From having issues from day 1 with the lock on the door and the whole locking system they still haven’t fixed the issue. They have already been once to fix it, but I am still having issues. I then called them and they booked me in for two weeks time to fix it! Can you believe I’d have to wait that long. The appointment was for the 27/05/25 guess what? No body turned up. I then got a call and a voicemail was left the next day to ask how the appointment went! I don’t know what planet these people live on. When I tried to call back to speak to someone guess what again? No body picks up the phone. I will not be contacting them anymore instead I will report them to trading standards and Ombudsman and get my money back!

Please don’t use this company you will be so disappointed and frustrated

From start to finish l couldn't fault the company in any way.
From initial sales person to surveyor to fitting. Everything was exceptionally good the fitters came on time and worked non stop they were polite friendly and efficient. They cleaned up when they finished. The contact with customer service was very good with phone calls keeping me informed prior to fitting, and a follow up call afterwards by a very friendly and helpful lady.
10 /10. Our thanks to All.

Brilliant, listened to what we wanted and gave us exactly that. From sale to instalation everyone was really professional and friendly. The job was perfectly done. Really pleased.

The fitters arrived on time, were friendly and did a great job. Communication from the customer service team was excellent throughout.
It would have been 5 stars but for the fact that the unit had the wrong number of glazing bars. However, the fitters immediately notified customer services and the correct item was ordered from the manufacturers and replaced at a later date.

It was quick and easy they made hardly any mess. Friendly and helpful. Polite company. I would definitely recommend and use them again.

The team that fitted the windows was very clean and tidy . Worked very hard to get the all done!

We invited a rep from Pennine Windows a few weeks back. He was pushy, stayed for hours, and we were immediately unhappy with a decision we made and cancelled. The deposit refund was immediate, for which I'm thankful. However, since this visit, representatives from the company (Windows Plus Roofs Ltd, which trades as Pennine Windows and Budget Windows as well) keeps calling me, saying I've called them, being pushy despite being told we'll call back if interested. It's very telling, both from the house visit and their phone manner/tactics that this company isn't worth your business. They don't know how to be professional and use pressure tactics. Avoid. They use all the tricks - "calling the boss for the best price today", "this price will be gone tomorrow", and avoiding any simple explanation of costs in favour of a "grand total" via the magic calculator on their ipad. Regret ever opening my door to their pamphleteer.

I think it's disingenuous to seem unaware of your own team's sales tactics and manner. Reading more reviews here, many complaints echo our experience and we will be looking elsewhere for a more honest/open, less pushy company.

A good job well done. No mess, every where cleaned up and old windows removed and excelent workers.

The window fitters were very helpful and nice. They were so quiet I forgot they were in my home. Showed us how to work the windows and talked us through things as they went. Spot on and a good job

Really helpful company from start to finish! Kept us well informed, and the fitters were excellent - really thorough, great product and they cleared everything up after them - plus a phone call later to ensure we were happy! Would thoroughly recommend them 😀

The two men were very careful about not making a mess in my house and when they finished sweeping up any debris in and outside.

Very happy with the quality service / product last time; further work has been arranged with fitting dates TBC.

Had my windows replaced with this company & from start to finish it has been 5 star+++ From our quote from Chris to the 2 great guys who worked their socks off for the 2 days it took for our windows to be fitted. Would highy recommend this company. First class service.

So got my windows fitted last week. This is s update of my previous review.
Communication has been excellent throughout thanks Deb. Had 3 doors fitted and 2 windows and my wonky porch done.
Done a fab job the lads were great.
2 very small negatives
One of the windows they made was to big but I wanted to put this in for a reason. They couldn't apologise enough for the error and should be getting that fitted next week. Kept me well informed and it shows they follow up on things so a positive really.
Other one my tv aerial was snapped but because I am not 100% sure the scaffolders did it. I will just pay for repair myself.
I am getting all the back windows done next year and looking forward to giving Budget the job.
The house feels so much warmer since I had them fitted.
Last thing.
2 different people have knocked on my door and asked to see my porch and windows. They were so Impressed and I've got a feeling budget will get a call off them. I should be on commission.

Excellent service from start to finish

Very polite man Chris came to see me explain everything to me and helped me with the budget I had, to do my 2 bedroom windows , hopefully I can get my sittingroom window done in the future

Our Victorian home looks in-keeping with its age, now we have had sash-style windows fitted everywhere.
The installation was hassle-free and the workmen were professional and super clean.
It’s been a pleasure having the work done by Budget, especially the daily courtesy calls by Deb who made sure we were happy every step of the way.
I totally recommend Budget Windows.

I have dealt with this company on three occasions and I can honestly say that they do a brilliant job, be very happy for them to take on my next project. Keep it up guys.
