Their Council Tax department are totally incompetent !!!

No one picks up the phone. Is broxbourne council ok? I've tried every line.

Simply requesting the CT bill for 26/27 emailed 3 emails so far requesting the bill is issued as I cannot access online due to their abhorrently poor system.
Wouldn’t think it would be so difficult to simply pay the bill on receipt except I can’t because I do not have one!
Does anyone actually work there?

Shocking lack of compassion relating to my father’s death .
Never exp such a lack of communication and customer care .
No one at this council cares so I’ve taken the route of contacting my MP and media .

The only reason u have 1 star is because I can't give none , am sick of constant roadworks in this area , I live dahlia close and work in Enfield and no matter what way I go I've had roadworks, the ones on Cuffley hill must be near 2 months and all they seem to do is dig up 1 side finish that then back to the other it's an absolute nightmare in busy times , do something about it please

Since February I have been sending emails ,made phone calls regarding my council tax .
They never answer anything ,a useless service

One car Toyota Yaris with the sign "P" on it, parked yesterday evening around 7 pm in front of my gates. Like always i said nothing, thinking maybe will go after a short time. But ... at 11 pm i had a emergency and i wanted to go out with the car, but ... that car still was in the same position, and plus of this ... had one anti theft lock on steering wheel as well. So ... that person was so rude and parked the car against of all 4 signs on my gate "polite notice, do not block my exit ...". So ... i did pictures and sent to council. Today at 10 am i received email from council saying they issued a PCN.
I hope starting now on, that driver will open the eyes before parking.
So ... a big thank you to Broxbourne council for taking action.

My morning started off challenging to say the least... however this afternoon I had to ring Broxbourne council to change address details and I spoke to the most wonderful lady, her name was Elaine. And I just wanted to say Thank you for all your help and advice...

I had my bulky waste removed today , i left early as i had work and came home to a note saying
FOUND OUTSIDE IN YOUR GARDEN BY PETER AT BROXBOURNE COUNCIL with £5 attached that i i had unknowingly dropped

We had a few visits from a building’s control inspector Russell Blackman. What a great chat. He was thorough and meticulous with his findings, I found this comforting as I knew that there would be no long term future issues with the building.
I also found Mr. Blackman to be both helpful and informative and gave us guidance where possible. He was extremely polite, well mannered and approachable and it was a pleasure dealing with him and he’s invaluable expertise and knowledge.

Broxbourne Council have changed the name for refuse collection to "best", the driver of the refuse truck should not be allowed to drive, he ia incapable of turning sharp corners without cutting the corners across the verge. Where I live he thinks it is acceptable to drive across my private lawn, and cause damage to the grass and there may be damage caused to the earthenware drainage pipes that run under the lawn. I have had to contact the council's person that deals with insurance claims.

I have been dealing with a very professional lady called Jade Hubbard, she has helped me sort out a financial plan and returned my emails very quickly. I can now breathe again as the matter has been resolved I just wanted to say another thankyou as I see some bad reviews I have never had problems on the phone or by email. Is Broxbourne Council the worst Council

Broxbourne Council deducted 2X Summon Costs whereas the summon costs were result of our waiting for their Benefits department. The summon costs were issued by their claims department because of lack of internal communication inside the Broxbourne Council. Although Broxbourne Council apologised for delay in their communication, however they still charged us for the money. The Local Government Ombudsman has taken the Council's side on this matter following my complaint regarding this and because the dates given to the Ombudsman by the council were misleading. Council ignores my letters dated 16/05/2018 and 03/04/2019. Not even an acknowledgement of my letters has not been issued by the council, surely not until March 2020 when we left our home in Broxbourne. There seems to be nowhere to get justice for me as the only authority to question Ombudsman's decision is high court which is not worth doing for £160. Shame and disgrace to the Broxbourne Council, we are disgusted by their custom and wished there would have been an authority where we could complaint.

Absolute Joke. They are a disgrace, plenty of proven liars in all departments. Managed, or should i say, MIS-Managed by the CEO Jeff Stack, another overpaid incompetent joker who doesnt even know what the councils' responsibilities even are. They do what the hell they like despite public opinion or input.
