Very friendly company and the valves…
Very friendly company and the valves sound great in my phono stage. Only four stars as I’ve recently found out that some folks are only getting 20 to 50 hours out of them. My fingers are crossed. As a company they seem pretty good.

All our valves are shipped with a 12month fair use warranty and we closely monitor for early life failures. Brimar Is Alive & Well
I was surprised by how good the pair of ECC82's sounded in my set-up - after all materials have changed (many can no longer be used or sourced) since the 50's/60's and my previous experiences with "modern" valves confirmed this.They were flat and lifeless.
These valves compare very favourably with my reference CBS Hytron 7318's and also Mullard M8136's - both exceptional valves.
The guys at Brimar have obviously listened to their efforts and the result is a well balanced nicely judged version of a popular driver.
I am sorely tempted to try their EL34's if these are anything to go by.
Well done guys - I have a lot of experience in this field and your production values are top drawer - keep up the good work!

Bought 2 x 6L6's (matched pair) and 3 x…
Bought 2 x 6L6's (matched pair) and 3 x 12AX7's which arrived promptly. I had an issue with one of the 12AX7's which was solved quickly and a replacement product shipped. Quality of the valves was excellent when tested on a valve tester and in the equipment. I highly recommend Brimar.

I did not think twice, I ordered a trio of 12AX7 valves that I will test on my EAR-864P phono preamp. I received the valves very well packaged in record time, considering the crossing of the Atlantic and the bureaucracy of the Brazilian customs.
