What a fantastic idea and company. As someone who is autistic and possibly has ADHD I use Lego to keep me calm and my hands busy when I am watching something . I can't always afford to buy Lego so brick borrow has been the perfect substitute.
I have a been using them for over a year and the service is fantastic always reply promptly to any questions I have and problems are resolved quickly. They have a wide range of categories to choose from so if you just collect a certain category like star wars or cars brick borrow is the perfect subscription to build other sets that you may find interesting builds that aren't in your chosen category or will be to big/expensive for you to display

Easy to set up and chose a Lego set. Delivery quicker than expected. Just such a fantastic idea. We have definitely run out of room for displaying Lego creations and it is so expensive. My son is a speedy builder so this is such a great idea!!

I love brick borrow!
It’s amazing, you get to borrow sets small or huge, and return them and build all over again. It’s been amazing for me to get sets I’d like to see if I’d display it happily before purchasing. I highly recommend brick borrow!!

Great company. Such a good idea. My son loves choosing his builds and then making them. Really good way for him to be creative whilst not having to spend ££££ on the really big builds. Customer service is amazing too.

The service from Brick Borrow is great overall
Pros:
1. Great idea;
2. Great costumer service
3. Great selection of Lego sets
4. Arrives quickly via tracked via royal mail and free postage when returning the set
Cons:
1. It's bit like the hunger games to select what you want and it available
1.1 Waiting for weeks until you can pick a certain set
2. There are consistency missing bricks from sets, typically the smaller pieces that can support the structure
3. The website could use an updated way to sort or search for certain sets

Brilliant service , saves a fortune on buying new sets and finding the space to store them.
Has allowed me to build some of the sets I wouldn’t otherwise have bought.
Cant recommend enough A*

Such a fantastic idea. You all get to the point where you have no where else to put the lego kits that are built and it becomes a nightmare trying to dust those that have been completed. Brick borrow solves these problems - you can still enjoy building a huge variety of kits without worrying about the storage. Choose, build, enjoy for as long as you want and then return. Ready to repeat the process again. And such great value

I was honestly sceptical about Brick Borrow at first, it took me a while to sign up because of this however after reading all of the positive reviews I thought what the hell and was not disappointed.
I received my first 2 sets only a couple of days ago and built them both yesterday and can honestly say I was over the moon.
I have been a Lego enthusiast since lock down during Covid and this hobby has been an expensive one, plus I have ran out of space in my Lego room, but now I don’t need to worry about that with Brick Borrow, I can still have my hobby but not have the massive expense or take up any more space. Can’t wait to return these and get my next two sets.
Thank you Brick Borrow

Absolutely love Brick Borrow!
I love building Lego, but to build as much as I wanted I needed to find a way of making it financially and environmentally sustainable, and Brick Borrow was it. I get the joy of building sets I'd never choose to actually own, and I can then spend my money on sets I truely want to own.
Their customer service is great too, fast and fuss free. It's an easy process to follow, the most difficult part is choosing your next set as they have hundreds of sets of all sizes, age ranges and interests. They also have retired sets you want to build but can't easily buy anymore.
I've had 11 sets so far, (including a brand new set still in its numberd bags which was awesome) and have absolutely no complaints.
I highly recommend subscribing.

Brick Borrow is a fantastic business concept. I bought my husband a subscription for Christmas. There’s loads of sets to choose from, postage is swift and enjoyment levels are sky high.

Borrowed a LEGO set from Brick Borrow and it was actually really good. The set turned up on time, everything was clean and already sorted, so it was easy to get started. Nothing missing and it was all in good condition.
The whole process was simple and didn’t feel like a hassle at all. Returning it was easy too. Way better than buying a set you’ll only use once and then have sitting around.
I’d honestly consider moving up a subscription so we can borrow more next time. Good option for birthdays or just something different to do at home.

Signed up and got my first brick borrow set. I opened up the sealed bag ( which you can tell has been overused ) and it stank! A really strong musty smell like it’s never been cleaned. Refuse to touch it, so sending it straight back and cancelling my subscription, so unfortunate as it really does seem handy for those who can’t afford a new set, but hygiene must be a priority especially when you don’t know who’s handling them

I heard about idea and thought for monthly cost was worth doing to see how much myself and my son would enjoy. Had no issues since signing up and communication has been brill.

We’ve subscribed to Brick Borrow for more than a year now. From the very first order to the latest, they’ve have all been amazing. My son really enjoys the variety of sets to choose from and it’s great for a Lego fan who has run out of space to store sets! He always looks forward to the next set arriving. The ordering and returning process is so quick and easy. Whenever there has been an issue, Brick Borrow has sorted it promptly and efficiently. Can’t wait for the next set to arrive.

Love Brick Borrow! I really enjoy building Lego- I find it really relaxing, but storage of completed sets has always stopped me buying more. Brick Borrow means I get to experience loads of cool fun builds without the expense, and storage issues, of owning multiple sets long term. Thanks guys :)

Brick Borrow is one of the best things out there; sets are in excellent condition.
As an adult builder, who had hours of fun building as a kid.
I have The Builder subscription and already completed 3 sets in my first month and getting the fun of building without the cost of buying a set that would be built, demolished and then collecting dust.

I subscribed to BrickBorrow with a lot of excitement, expecting to make good use of the service. However, the reality has been extremely disappointing and frustrating.
While the monthly subscription is already expensive (around £180 per year), you are also charged £4.99 for every delivery. In practice, despite claims that you can borrow multiple sets per month, the return grace period limits you to a maximum of 2 sets per month. This means you end up spending at least £320 per year, which is very poor value. At that price point, buying sets through the marketplace and reselling them would make far more sense.
The service also fails to deliver on its core promise. Most of the time, desirable sets are already unavailable, forcing you to borrow sets you don’t actually want, completely defeating the purpose of the subscription.
The real frustration starts when the sets arrive. Every single set I ordered had missing crucial pieces. Discovering missing parts after investing time and effort into building is incredibly frustrating. Reporting missing pieces is time-consuming, and replacement parts take up to two weeks to arrive. I chose not to request replacements because it’s not environmentally friendly to send couriers for a few small pieces. As a result, I was forced to complete sets with missing parts.
This completely removes the joy of the experience. Instead of opening sets with excitement, you open them with anxiety, wondering what will be missing this time. The BrickBorrow team responds quickly, but responses are limited to apologies with no real compensation or solution. Over time, no meaningful new sets were added, and inventory was not expanded to meet demand.
Overall, this feels less like a value-driven service and more like a subscription trap, where customers are milked for fees while receiving constant frustration in return. My experience was dominated by reporting missing pieces and receiving apologies nothing more.
My advice to potential subscribers: stay away. This service creates far more frustration than fun and does not deliver the value it promises.

I’ve just signed up for an Annual Builder subscription and am looking forward to my first set arriving.
I was given gift vouchers which didn’t get accepted via the website, but the customer service was amazing and resolved the problem within an hour of me messaging.
Would highly recommend!

Excellent idea and concept, been a member for well over a year, and we love it. Huge amount of sets available, Highly recommend

Great idea, saves you buying the sets yourself and having to store them! One of the best parts of Lego is the build so this fully supports that, and if there’s a set you love you can still buy it afterwards!
So much variation in products also!
