Renting experience
I rented a flat through this agency. The estate agents were good and helpful initially.
But during tenancy washing machine was not working. It took about 2 months to get this repaired.
Toilet was leaking. Again needed several phone calls to get this fixed.
Toilet window would not close. This was not repaired till we left the flat.
Door handles were old. We got locked into the sitting room as the lock was broken. We were trapped there for a few hours before someone managed to open the door. Even though this was informed to the agency nothing was done.
Garage roof was leaky. We were not informed about this. Our furniture that was worth £3000 were covered in mould when we opened the garage door at the end of tenancy.
We were told it was not their responsibility.
We had to pay £250 to do end of tenancy clean.
We left the flat 5 days ago still the agency has not returned our deposit.
