DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY RO SURVEY A PROPERTY YOU WANT TO BUY. I used the this company on the advise of Coubrough Estates Agents. They arranged to go almost immediately. When I got the report back it read as though I had a good chance to get the price reduced. I arranged to visit the property again and the owner was there. The owner said the surveyor went through the the whole survey with him there and told him the house was good and any work was not serious or needed immediate action. This contradicted the report. Because the surveyor had already discussed this, the owner refused to reduce his price based on what the survey had told him. It’s going to cost me quite a few £0000 if I go ahead with this property. I’ve queried this with Boultons last week and they have still not replied. Please use a private independent surveyor that’s been recommended and not these. They’re not there to help you.

i contacted Boultons back in March to help us sell a parcel of land adjacent to our farmhouse. The land was just sold earlier this month at an online auction arranged by Boultons. We are very happy with the outcome.
Andrew has been fantastic throughout the process - always available, offers impartial advice which has been invaluable in what can be a tricky process. His knowledge of previous sales and the state of the market - asking prices, examples of previous sales of various types is impressive and useful to us to help us arrive at a correct estimate for our sale.
I would say they definately deliver what they promise and i wouldnt hesitate to use them again - for land or house sale - should the need arise.
I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Boultons to help with sales of property and land.

We found a house which we really liked so arranged a viewing put an offer in then waited & waited. After a few days we called to check it had been put to the vendor to be told it had & was rejected. Fair enough. We went back with a full asking price & again we waited & waited. During this time we kept looking & actually found another property so we put an offer in & had it accepted.
Nearly 2wks after putting our full asking price offer in through Boultons we got an email on a Sunday evening saying it was declined... No phone call to discuss the offer ie did they want more, had they decided not to sell, or had a better offer.
I'm glad I didn't sell through Boultons as I'm not convinced they even approached the vendor as he showed us around the property & even showed us around his own home (next door) to show us the possibilities so we'd built a good rapour. Good luck selling if you choose Boultons!
