Disappointing support for such an expensive product
I’ve always loved the sound quality of my Bose 700 system, but I’m honestly shocked by how poor the support has been.
After only 4.5 years, both my remote control and the wireless connection suddenly stopped working. I tried all the troubleshooting steps, replaced the batteries multiple times, and even reached out through Bose’s website and social media.
It took over a week to get any response, and when they finally replied, they simply told me to buy a new remote or ship my system for inspection — at my own expense. Even the return shipping would cost money if I decided not to repair it. That’s unacceptable for a product in this price range that’s supposed to represent premium quality.
I understand warranties have limits, but premium brands should also stand behind their products beyond a few years, especially when multiple features fail at once. I expected better from Bose.
I really hope Bose reconsiders how they handle cases like this — I’d still like to remain a loyal customer, but this experience makes it hard to justify future purchases.
