Car serviced at vw St Boswells

Car serviced at vw St Boswells. All staff very helpful and welcoming. My car and I are very grateful for a good clean and excellent service. I forgot my walking stick and they have very kindly agreed to keep it until I am able to collect it. I highly recommend 👌 this very efficient and helpful team. Thank you.

I would give no stars if I could

I would give no stars if I could. Made a warranty claim. Very slow every step of the way. Had my car for 5 weeks. I incurred hire charges which they won't reimburse. I only received a courtesy car after emailing Toyota UK's Chief Executive. The worst service I have experienced in over 40 years of car ownership. If you insist on buying Toyota go elsewhere.

Can I give a zero?

Can I give a zero?

Booked Toyota service online. Receive call to say the online system doesn’t really work like that ( this is 2021, I used the UK Toyota portal).

Make appointment for very overdue service four weeks later, request rental car.

Get to dealer, no rental car.

Try to call customer service at headquarters and get “your call cannot be taken” message.

Toyota, do yourself a favour and remove your franchise from these clowns.

You lost all chance of future business Border Motors.

Fantastic service for Border Toyota Dumfries exceptional customer service for David Stairmand

Hi I would just like to thank David Stairmand at Border Toyota Dumfries for making our new car purchase an extremely pleasant one. I arranged an appointment and there was absolutely no pressure whatsoever We decided on the Toyota RAV4 awd hybrid Design after a test drive,the colour was chosen and the car was ordered David went beyond everything to keep me informed of the progress and we took delivery of the car 17 days later. I would not hesitate to recommend your company to anyone and will be 100% definitely returning when we change our car thanks again David we are absolutely loving the car

SAD; Border Hyundai have gone down hill.

Border Hyundai have gone down massively. Poor communication during the buying process. Disappointing handover. Inexperienced sales staff. Inaccurate descriptions. Overpayment not refunded. Promised phone calls never received. Very disappointing. Not the dealership it once was.

I've had 2 experiences with Lawrie's…

I've had 2 experiences with Lawrie's Garage in St Boswells, on the first I had corroded wheel centre caps and they refused to replace under warranty until Skoda instructed them to. On the second I needed a broken rear spring replaced under warranty and they agreed but then ordered the wrong part and took almost a week to do the job. On one other occasion I asked them how to reset the service reminder on the car computer and they told me it had to be done by the dealer and they wouldn't do it since I hadn't used them before, online the instructions were simple and I did it myself.
