Bopita review
My experience with this company was a disaster. I ordered a 3 piece set of baby furniture in October and received shipping information that went to my spam. The shipping company they use is called Agediss which was also a terrible experience. They originally sent me an email with a link to organize the delivery but by the time I found the email in my spam it was expired. I contacted the shipping company and got no reply. I then contacted Bopita (lion international B.V.) they said they would contact the shipping company. By then it was December and they were very slow to respond. Bopita was informed by Agediss that my order was delivered but with no proof of delivery and that Bopita could see it was delivered based on the tracking info, which when I checked had no such information and showed the order pending. They tried to call me except only called during my working hours and the contact for the French region worked very few hours so almost impossible to get any answers quickly. This caused me a lot of stress because I was supposed to be giving birth in 3-4 weeks and now panicked that I needed to find new furniture which was going to be almost impossible since it was the Christmas holidays and shipping would be delayed everywhere. While waiting for a reply from Bopita they finally found out that Agediss lost my order, again, trying not to take any fault on themselves. Finally they said they would resend it and I asked for it to be sent out with another provider, not possible according to them, so to please send it as quickly as possible especially since I still needed to put it all together. I asked them for a discount off my order for all the stress they had caused and instead they came back to say they couldn’t because they (Bopita) were also at a loss because the first order was never found. How is that my problem!? I left it at that because after this experience why would their customer service actually try to keep me as a good paying customer they could careless. I was sent another tracking number they said it was going to be sent out that day. 5 days later the order still was pending arrival to the transporter. Then I got another email with another tracking number for my order and so I contacted Bopita and asked what was going on and then they said oh no this is actually your tracking number, a third one!? You got to be kidding me. They even said that they never had an issue with the delivery company but why was everything so unorganized it’s hard to believe anyone’s things could arrive. Finally I am about to go into labor so I dispute the charge with my credit card agency because I don’t want to deal with that after the baby arrives and I need to order other furniture. A few days later I receive a call from the delivery company and they schedule a time for the delivery so I am relieved but when the delivery arrives one of the pieces of furniture is missing. What a surprise! They seriously can’t do anything right. I don’t blame the guys who brought us the delivery I blame bopita for not getting their crap together. While my husband was building the furniture one of the dresser drawers broke. I didn’t even bother telling bopita because in my experience they were not going to do anything. Luckily my father in law was able to make a replace the broken drawer but not everyone has that kind of help. Finally I email them after giving birth to let them know about the missing item and they almost didn’t believe me. After all that they send the last piece that’s missing by UPS. Once everything was done I dropped the claim and paid for my order. They could have rectified my opinion of them by offering me any type of discount for this experience. Shipping was included in the price so idk how much it was but at least gave me that as a discount anything to have built a better relation. I would have ordered all my child’s bedroom furniture through them but now I will never purchase from them again and I will tell all my contacts to avoid them at all costs.
