Booked a 40 passenger bus for a university team regatta. Paid in advance. Notified the day before leaving that the bus was not available, and other arrangements could be made, but it would cost an additional $1,500. In most states, the exchange of money for a specified service, and not having that service provided at the paid price would normally result in a breach by the company. In other instances, demanding additional payment to provide the already paid for service, knowing that time was of the essence, might constitute extortion. Be very careful about renting from this company.
