Bobco closing down sale

Just been to Bobco for the closing down sale.

It was heart breaking to see the shelfs empty.

I would like to thank the staff past and present for all the help and advice they have given over the years.

Great Customer Service

Recently bought a new 2 man fishing bivvy from BobCo Tackle, price and delivery was spot on. However upon receiving the bivvy, it was packaged with the wrong poles (manufacturers fault). Can't thank BobCo enough for sorting this out and getting a new set of poles sent out from KP Spares within a few days. Highly recommend both BobCo and KP Spares!

I ORDERED A REEL OVER THE INTERNET

I ORDERED A REEL OVER THE INTERNET PENN 6500 SLAMMER, ORDER 2588, I KNOW THEY WERE ONLY 2 IN STOCK . THEY SENT ME A DISPLAY MODEL WITH PAINT DAMAGE . RANG BUT WAS TOO LATE ,EMAILED GOT NO REPLY, PHONE MORNING AFTER TO BE TOLD THEY IS MANY RESONS THE BOX WAS NOT SEALED .PAINT MISSING FROM THE REEL .?? WENT 4TH AUG TO DO A EXCHANGE. FIRSTLKY I CHECKED THE DISPLAY . NO REEL ON SHOW , AT THE COUNTER THE GUY GOT THE STOCK ITEM AND PROCEEDED TO CUT THE SEAL TO SHOW ME THE REEL . I TOLD HIM THAT THEY HAD SENT ME THE DISPLAY REEL WITH THE DAMAGE.TO BE TOLD , HO I DONT KNOW I DID NOT DO THE ORDER PICK. NOT A SORRY YOU HAVE HAD TO TRAVEL BACK TO LEEDS TO SORT THIS OUT . NOTHING . TOTAL JOKE , I USE THIS SHOP QUITE REGULAR , LIVING IN BARNSLEY WE DONT HAVE THIS SORT OF SHOP.

Worst experience

Shop is great plenty to choose from that's where it stops!! The attitude from the older gentleman serving is absolutely disgusting!! The way he speaks to people is disgraceful, never have I been in a shop where I wanted to leave my items at checkout, I desperately needed the item I was purchasing and wanted to see if I could buy a very big gift card or I would of left my stuff. I didn't buy the girt card!!
This gentleman needs a course on customer service!!

Missing item from order

Missing a pack of hooks from my latest order. I have used BOBCO countless times to order a variety of fishing tackle but on this occassion an item was missing. I emailed them outlining the situation. Unfortunately, they have failed to get back in touch. Despite the hooks only costing a couple of pounds, I feel annoyed that they have failed so miserably with their customer service care in dealing with my case. I therefore will not shop with BOBCO again and will promptly close my account with
them.

Excellent service

Never had any bother with Bobco except just the once but it was a busy bank hol weekend and they apologised for not getting back to me. That aside, top notch customer service; orders dealt with promptly, customer notified when order has been despatched. Only ever had to return an item once to the store in person; full refund given with no questions. Competitive prices too. Can see why Bobco is so highly regarded. Thanks one and all.
