Absolutely horrible place. The staff is extremely rude. I walked in on Sunday asking for an appointment and they all glared at me and gave very dirty looks! So I thought nothing of it as I understand they may of been busy and stressed. But the girl at the desk gave me the wrong time AND person. So I walked into my 4PM Wednesday appointment (which was literally written down) but it was actually meant to be at 3pm. Which is fine whatever. Just book another appointment for another day but the girl at the desk was so rude about it! She kept giving me attitude, like all she had to tell me was a different time and date but she kept trying to get rid of me as if it was my fault. She also lied for the other girl and said she was new. I literally saw her a year ago. And I got no apology from anyone. Do better.

I cannot begin to express how alienated I was by the wedding hair and makeup artist. She made me look like a ghost, and even though I radiated discomfort when she was done, she was snippish and defensive when I told her I felt too pale. I didn't look like myself on my own wedding day. I was so uncomfortable that I felt outside of my own body. I had to alter her work when she was done just to feel like I could go outside. I can't bear to look at the photos, to be honest. Thanks a lot, Beatriz. I hope you reskill as something where you'll do less damage.

Blow is simply brilliant! I tried to find a makeup artist through instagram and google and I had nothing but trouble getting a mua who would respond promptly. I eventually came across Blow and wow, what a service! They gave me a range of options local to me and I ended up booking with someone who was less than 2 limes away. Great service, and a truly awesome platform. High reccomended!!

what has happened to blow??

i was a long term customer who has used them for special occasions makeup and hair a dozen times in last few years and love the standard of beauty professionals and flexibility to book,

however, i went to book this week only to find the app no longer works and the website is an error message? it’s like they disappeared without trace or explanation??? does anyone know??

I had a really terrible experience trying to book an appointment for hair colour. I booked 2.5 weeks out from an event for which I needed my colour done. On the site it looked like a confirmed booking. Over a week later, I was called and told no one could make that time - why tis took over a week to establish, I don't know. After many phone calls and wasted time, I was offered another time, which was confirmed. There was only one or two times they could only offer me and I had to rearrange lots of other meetings to accommodate it. I also had to go through a zoom consultation and a patch test. I was promised that the patch test would be for the colour I was having. This was impt because I'm pregnant and had chosen a mild chemical. When the patch test arrived, it wasn't for the colour I had chosen as promised but instead two random brands and therefore a stronger product. I had no choice but go ahead with the patch test given the timing. Having done all that, Blow then cancelled my second booked appointment, such that I cannot now have my colour done before my event. I've given up and will go to a salon but now can't get an appt in time. I would never use them again - essentially there is no guarantee that an appt is booked as it would be with a salon and no cover if a freelancer cancels. Several hours wasted for no gain, as well as having to test chemicals on my skin I didn't want to use due to pregnancy. In the meantime, they have taken my money which will take several days to refund.

Brilliant hairdresser, easy to book, efficient service!

My lash lift was amazing! I noticed a difference right away and was very pleased with the whole experience. I will be rebooking with Blow for the same technician in 8 weeks time. Highly recommend.

Didn't like the mixed comm from Blow as they has texted me in the morning saying they could not find someone in time for my appointment and if they could rearrange to a later time. Since I couldn't do that time I fell asleep only to be woken up by a Blow employee later for my original appointment.
Luckily Georgina had no further appointment booked and was kind enough to wait till I showered then did my blowdry. She took her time and did a nice job. The whole experience was dampen as I felt very rushed to be quick for Georgina when the whole point of an at home service is so you are getting pampered in your house.

The process was straightforward, Pez did a wonderful cut and colour. I would highly recommend.

Eliana is always very reliable, and professional. She does a great quality blowdry, I'd highly recommend her.

She talked through my hair style and came up with ideas and executed the style perfectly, helping me to feel beautiful at an important event for me. she was also patient and calm while I had to take work calls while she did my hair.
