Very bad customer service

I opted for a no drill roller blind, measured up and ordered with no issues. I checked this was suitable for my small bathroom window and could not see any reason why this would not be suitable. Once it arrived I tried to fit it. I does fit however as I have tiled walls everytime I pull the cords to lower or raise it, it slips off the wall. I contacted customer services who stated that this type of blinds is not suitable for tiled walls. I said there is nothing on the website to say this.
Since I have contacted them they have offered the following:
1.Replacement blind which I would have to drill to fit.
2. Sent some metal clips without instructions as to why and were to fit them,
3, Refund, which when I asked for this to be processed was asked to provide a video, which I did along with photos.
4. I am now told they will not give a refund but to re measure the window and blind.

Do not use them.

Don’t use this company - not reliable or good quality

Don’t use this company. Not a very reliable company. We had problems with our blind - it wasn’t correctly made and had quite a few faults. After a discount was arranged, it’s now stopped working and won’t raise more than halfway. I have been trying to get in touch with BlindsUK.net for nearly three weeks and no one has replied. I’ve sent three emails and get promises of someone will reply within 24 hours, but no one does. And the phone number they provide is no longer operational.

Are Blinds UK still in business?

Bought a set of wooden blinds from them last year. All went well (except they did not send the promised free cushion covers) Have decided to fit a matching set to another window in the same room. Having gone to all the trouble of measuring up and filling out the order form etc I attempted to check out, only to receive a system error message. They did reply to my subsequent email saying they are in the process of changing their payment options. That was 3 months back! and their site is still returning the same error message today. I would have moved on months ago but I need the blinds to match the previous order.

Trying to place an order 🤦‍♀️.

Trying to place an order .. the site takes you through to a SAGE transaction payment which doesn’t allow you to enter your details so no surprise when it fails and then can’t redirect you. The option to save your basket doesn’t work and no one answers when you phone customer services . A dreary voice says they will return your call but no one ever does and despite repeated attempts at emailing and getting a reply that’s says they will respond immediately - again nothing!
Can’t place the order which having read other customer reviews might be for the best. Shame as I liked the fabric for the blind I wanted but can’t waste any more time on this dreadful company that clearly don’t want the business

First time customer, terrible experience

We placed our order on the 18th December 2024, where it said delivery was generally within 7 to 14 days. We appreciated it was the Christmas break, so I emailed on the 6th January 2025 to ask when the order is likely to be delivered, as we hadn't heard a thing from them since placing the order.

I was told my order was still in production and I would be told when it was dispatched.

On the 14th January, I noticed I had been refunded the full amount of the order, but had received no correspondence what so ever from them telling me that my order was cancelled or there was any issue.

I got a response on the 15th January telling me that due to unforeseen circumstances, they were unable to fulfil my order. No explanation as to why...

The fact that I had to chase them to find out my order was cancelled nearly a month after ordering is unacceptable.

This was my first time ordering with this company and it will be the last. I admit we have quite large windows but their website allowed us to order those sizes. If they were never able to fuffil it, they shouldn't have let us place the order in the first place, and it certainly shouldn't have taken them a month to cancel the order, after telling me it was "in production".

Scam website

Cancelled order due to new payment provider? Full refund issued but not happened? Seems like a scam even though they send the samples quickly. Coventry office, Luton phone number, can't click on the link on the website for trust pilot reviews. I should have noticed all this before even the dodgy payment pages and emails asking for permission to send emails for "data protection" before I could get my order confirmation. Avoid or you're going to lose your money. Ended up asking my bank for a chargeback to try and get my money back.

Suspicious cancelled order

After waiting a week I received a notification from my bank that we had received a refund for the total of the order.
No communication from the company so had to reach out to them. Reason given was a new payment provider.
I don't see how this warrants canceling the order with no notice or communication a week down the line.
Very suspicious behavior.

These guys were perfect

These guys were perfect. Helped with the order process at the start. Blinds were delivered before delivery due date. Arrived perfect, fitted like a glove, specs' were spot on and matched some existing blinds almost perfectly to description.

Great quality shutters

Ordered shutters a few weeks ago, the email communication worked well and they arrive after about 2 weeks, very well packaged. Had them installed at the weekend and I’m absolutely delighted. They fitted well and I’m very impressed by the quality of them. Will definitely be a returning customer when I’m ready to do the rooms upstairs!

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. Been waiting since 20th October for a blind but still no show. Have made numerous attempts to contact customer services both on line and phone. They keep saying they will look into why the order has not been despatched and then do not get back to us. We ordered our original blind from this company around 5 years ago with no issues. Had one break so need a like for like replacement. I will not be buying any further products from this company and would not recommend to anyone in the future!

I needed some parts for my blinds

I needed some parts for my blinds, and I sent at email and within three days I received the parts for the blinds and the company even sent the parts first class post which is EXCELLENT, and now all the blinds are working perfectly, but most of all I was not charged for the parts, which is Fantastic.

Told to wash filth from the delivery mans boots off interlined dry clean curtains

I received made to measure curtains and matching Roman blind in extremely damaged packaging. Basically the courier had walked all over the thin, floppy boxes, they were torn and covered in filth. The Roman Blind metal track was bent and would not hold the blind. The curtains were covered in filth which had gone through the packaging along with the delivery drivers boots. The only solution offered by this low quality company was either a 15% discount to wash the filth off the interlined, dry clean only curtains myself with "warm water, a soft cloth and a mild detergent" or send them back, they would spot wash the filth off and return them same day. Avoid this arrogant, dismissive company unless you want to risk loosing your money to a dishonourable company and have nothing to show for your purchase.

Genuine review be warned do not buy shutters

Genuine review be warned do not purchase shutters from this company.
I cannot comment about other blinds the company supplies, however what a mistake with getting shutters from them. As the saying goes you get what you pay for. Although, still very expensive they were a little cheaper than competitors. Unfortunately I made a mistake choosing them with my first order and wanted all matching so gave them a second chance. What a mistake, the company that manufactures the shutters (located in France I think) should locate to Texas as they are genuine Cowboys. Orders received damaged, incorrect and Months down the line issues have not been resolved. Save yourself a decision and use Blinds2go (we have now started to use and recommended them as far better quality than this lot). I am turning to the Small claims route to recover my losses. Absolutely terrible service and product from this company. Coming from a customer who has regrettably spent nearly 4K with them over the years. AVOID

Excellent customer service, top quality wooden shutters

Our experience with Blinds UK has been fabulous. Elaine who is the lovely lady who supports customers on the phone is brilliant!
She went above and beyond to help make sure our shutters were not only perfect re measurements, but delivered to us the fastest way possible.
Elaine managed to shorten our delivery time by 2 weeks which we were so grateful for as it meant that our shutters could be fitted over the Easter break.
Elaine is an excellent member of the team and should be rewarded for her dedication and support to customers receiving the best service possible.
Our wooden shutters are great quality - I am very impressed.
They look beautiful and really add a special touch to our lounge and bedroom.

Quality not as good any more and poor customer service

I have bought about 7 blinds over the years and these latest two are not as good as previous ones. Not enough clearance to clip pelmet cover onto the cassette. I was told to bend the clips with pliers. This makes the pelmet sit at an angle vertically.
I had to request magnetic fixings which did not arrive and I had to chase. Weeks of trying to sort this out with a clumsy customer service system.

Helpful and great product!

I am very happy with my blinds from Blinds UK; they were quick and generous to send me the spare parts when I accidentally wound the coil of my blind, and they also guided me through the repair process with clear instructions. I fixed the blinds yesterday and they are working flawlessly again. Blinds UK is a fantastic company that I highly recommend to anyone!

Would highly recommend this company

Would highly recommend this company. Just ordered my ninth blind from them. Excellent quality blinds at a reasonable price and samples of material to choose from sent out very quickly. Also helpful customer service when I've had to call them.

Real meaning of Customer Service

After nearly ten years of continuous use the tilt mechanism on one of my venetian blinds jammed. When I contacted Customer Service I was told by Anna that after that passage of time the model was no longer made, but if I sent a photo she would see what she could do. She then told me that that the producing factory thought they had a mechanism which could replace my jammed one. As they came in two different sizes Anna sent me both, free of charge. I was able to recruit a local blinds retailer who fitted the smaller of the two mechanisms, again without charge, which has the blinds working well again. I was lucky and grateful to have found Anna of Blinds UK and Paul Paice, two members of the blinds business who believe that the words 'customer service' have real meaning.
