Big Wild Thought Reviews 101

We’ve ordered from Big Wild Thought 21 times since 2022 - tshirts, jumpers, bags, and socks. We were big fans back in the day but recently quality and service has been poor. Orders take days (and in one instance -weeks - to even be dispatched). They no longer do the animal fact cards, and only £1.50 per order is donated - it’s hardly even worth mentioning on a £45 bag.

It is also worth noting that the upper end of their sizing is not accurate, as other customers have pointed out and quality is not what it used to be.

I recently bought three pairs of surprise animal socks in size 8-11 that were marketed as ‘suitable for animal lovers’. However, I received two identical floral pairs unsuitable for a man. I messaged customer support and I was told that it doesn’t matter that their online listing is misleading because it says on their instagram that duplicates happen. No solution was even offered, not even a return. Now my fun present needs an explanation.

Rubbish.

I was initially impressed with the products – they’re good quality, albeit a bit pricey, but I felt it was worth it for a good cause. Unfortunately, the sizing was off, so I had to return my order and place a new one in different sizes – and that’s when the problems started.
Although I returned the original items within the specified timeframe, I had to chase the company several times just to get confirmation they’d received them. I was told my refund would be processed the next day, but it actually took over a week. In the meantime, I’d placed a new order for replacements, which I now seriously regret. I’ve since been informed that one of the returned tops is “marked” and I won’t be getting a refund for it.
At this point, I’m really wish I hadn’t come across the advert for this brand. I’m already out of pocket, and I’m now hesitant to return the second batch of shirts in case the same thing happens again. Very disappointing experience overall.

Waited 2 weeks for tracking information which never materialised so had to give up. Now I'm waiting on the refund. Definitely 1 to avoid!!

Excellent customer service they went above and beyond to fulfil my order im so grateful! Beautiful quality products! I do hope they return.

The pieces I ordered were so lovely, although the hoody did come up a bit small. But still fits! I also ordered some bits for my little boy and the quality is amazing.

Such a brilliant little company! Would gladly buy from them again!

The quality of not only their embroidery but their actual clothing is so so good. I’ve got about 15 items from this company now and they’re all so perfect. The sweatshirts are incredible quality, cosy and warm and all items wash so well with no fading or stretching. Love love love!!!

I am a regular customer at BWT. I have hats, sweatshirts, hoodies, t shirts and bags with a variety of animals on them in a range of colours. I love how cute the designs are and the clothes are great quality. Every purchase also includes a donation to charity - what more could you want?! 100% recommend.

I really love the designs, quality and colour choices from Big Wild Thought and would have happily given 5 stars, however, I’m only 5’1” and a size 12 and unfortunately the sweater length is just too long, even though the body of the sweater fits great. I can only assume this is because the sweaters are unisex. If they ever bring out ladies/female sweaters, I’ll definitely be back to buy again but sadly, just not a good fit for me. Otherwise a great company.

Absolutely love my shark jumper. I love the almost personalised aspect of these jumpers; choose your colour, your animal and the positioning.
The quality of the jumper is amazing and the donation to your chosen animal is incredible. Would definitely recommend and would buy again! Love it thank you!

The fleeces are so lovely, would love a cream one but kept selling out some had a navy and mint one

I cannot begin to say how fantastic this company is, from the very beginning to the very end! I bought a dinosaur sweatshirt to wear at a funeral for a little girl, & changed my order at the last minute. The team at Big Wild Thought were genuinely thoughtful & ensured I received my item in time. The sweatshirt is warm & excellent quality, the detail in the embroidery & bright colours were first class. The note I received from them touched my heart & I cannot thank them enough. Ordered 2 fleeces, one for myself and one as a gift. They are sooo big! I ordered a medium for my sister and it fited my husband who wears a male size L. I have since returned them and still have not gotten a refund, I have emailed 3 times now with no response- will not order again.

I was so pleased with the gift I bought for my son and his wife. They are expecting their first child in February so a set of matching whale 🐳 sweatshirts were perfect. They love the ocean and their nursery is “under the sea theme” The quality of the sweatshirts are fantastic and I love the sustainability aspect too.
