I am writing this to warn other…

I am writing this to warn other Australians about the predatory billing practices used by Big Fish Games. I was billed monthly for nearly a decade for a game I have not played since 2015.
Big Fish Games makes cancellation nearly impossible. Once you lose access to the legacy login credentials or an old email address from a decade ago, there is no reasonably accessible way to stop the automated billing. Their system locks you into a model where you can never leave.
Most alarmingly, I attempted to stop these charges by updating my cards, but Big Fish followed and continued to make withdrawals without my consent. The only way to stop is to either tell your bank or kill your bank account altogether. After years of unauthroised charges draining my hard-earned wages, I was left with no choice but to permanently close my entire bank account to sever the connection.
This is unconscionable conduct that targets vulnerable users.
For other victims: There is currently a class action being undertaken by William Roberts Lawyers for the Social Casino apps. If you played those apps from 2017 to 2024 while living in Australia, I strongly suggest you register. I have also suggested to the firm that they do one for subscription members, too.
If you are a new user: stay away. They are scammers. Once they have your billing details, they will not let go.

I received an email from Big FIsh Games…

I received an email from Big FIsh Games yesterday asking me how
I rate their customer service.

Customer Support Does Not Support Customers
I have been a member of bigfishgames for several years. 4 months ago they updated to a new game manager and I have been unable to download the manager for use on my mac.
**************************************************
This is a follow-up to previous request #7398012 "Re: [Big Fish Games] Big Fi..."

One problem, 6 incident #s, 6 contact names, 5 months with zero problem solving

I have been waiting over 5 months and still no fix, reponse to each contact is to close my case #, every time I ask another question about the case they respond that the case is closed.

Since it has been over 5 months, I would like to be reimbursed for the games I purchased just days before the big update, took my entire system down.

I would be happy to speak with someone that can “fix” this problem on your end.

Such a disappointment, looks like you are no longer serving you clients using mac,
a lot of complaints with TrustPilot about the same issue

Big Fish Casino is a Scam! No Longer Enjoyable! Not Recommended!

Probably the worst gaming experience money can buy. The game is glitchy, the odds are worse than real online casinos, and the gameplay is predictable. The slot game should appear random, but if you play long enough you can tell it’s timed. You will start winning and during the streak you can move to any slot and win, but after a few minutes you will start losing- spinning zero every spin- and this occurs on any slot or seat you go into. About an hour later, the cycle repeats. You also win on the last spin a lot, but never at the bet level you were betting. This is designed to make you buy in order to be able to spin again. It’s really become a horrible experience. I’ve played for a long time and used to enjoy it. Recently, I totaled what I have spent in the last 3 months and I didn’t realize how much money I was spending on this game, but in 3 months I spent about $400, spending $1.99 or $4.99 at a time. It’s very easy to lose track of spending because it seems inexpensive in the moment. That said, that’s way too much money to spend and still leave the game feeling frustrated and exploited after every session of play. Payouts are terrible now and the promos are a scam. You never win with the “free chips”. You will lose it all even if you save billions of chips. They have in game promos and those are scams too. I’ve been playing this game for about 10 years and I’ve hit the promo wheel (volt wheel) once in 10 years! The customer service is nonexistent now. They won’t help solve any issues. The game is also full of bots and the chats can be vulgar and occasionally racist. Nothing is ever done about it. The company is parasitic and actively harms people. I hope that eventually they are regulated like a real casino so that people aren’t spending money on a game that is programmed to not pay out a percentage. Game has become increasingly unplayable and I wouldn’t recommend.

Don't trust, don't subscribe

Don't trust. I had over $200 in credit with them, but chronic illness and pain stopped me from being able to use a computer - only way to access their platform. I contacted them, was told my credit wouldn't expire. And, maybe, if I sat in a more comfortable position I could use a computer to access them. What a condscendingly rude thing to say to a chronically ill person.

Then, without notifying me, they changed from credit to points, which do expire. And, yup, mine have expired.

So, knowing I couldn't access my credit, they stole it. They changed their policies, didn't inform me, but tell me I've accepted them by staying a member?

I have reported them to the ACCC, strongly feel others who have similar issues with them should do so too.

Do not trust them. Do not subscribe to them. Buy the games you want directly from the game creator, not the gaming platform Big Fish Games. As they will take your money and not provide the promised services.

False billing of piggy bank transactions due to bigfish casino technical glitches 25th June 2025…

False charges due to bigfish database glitches 25 June 2025.
I have been playing bigfish casino for many years and invested stupidly a great deals in the purchase of gold.
Recently there was a glitch with the piggy bank purchase and it stated that the request could not be done and to try again. Of course I did try about six times and still no gold. Later I found my paypal account had a debit for over four hundred dollars relating to the glitch in trying to order gold via piggy bank. There has been little commitment to resolving the matter from Bigfish and this has placed my bank account and paypal to place a deficit onto my account. Stopping me to use my real accounts properly. The matter is now with paypal who are investigating this via dispute. This happened since 25th June 2025 and I spent two weeks, each day trying to get bigfish to resolve this. With no results. This is what you call looking after your loyal customers??? I say not.

Bigfish sucks big time

Ever since Bigfish was bought out by another company or people it has gone down hill. I keep getting errors, game crashing, game wont open, this game needs a security key and the technician's don't seem to be able to fix them so I have been fixing them myself, but it doesn't last long before I start having the same problems again. Bigfish don't mind taking your money though and if u unsubscribe from them u cant get access to your games anymore and there have been errors on there web page as well. I got an error a few days ago saying there security certificate was out of date so I sent them and email concerning this and when I went to check my email the next day it said email could not be sent. How conveniently for them. I'm thinking of cancelling my subscription and forgoing all the money I have spent and finding another game site

Well what can I say

Well what can I say. Big fish games, they will take your money but give you a zero percentage back on your winnings. The greed on this game is absolutely disgusting. It’s the same winners each and every single day. which i believe are bots. I would definitely avoid buying chips.

No compassion, its just a subscription!

As an avid player of Big Fish games for years, when my partner died last month suddenly, I reached out to cancel subscription. Unfortunately the mortuary process takes time, and by the time I got the death certificate, BFG had charged me another month subscription. When I complained, Angel was not at all sympathetic, and even addressed email to my dead partner. Compassion is a joke with them!

A DROP IN STANDARDS AND FALSE INFO GIVEN

I have now submitted two reviews of games and have to admit they were critical reviews, which given the standard of my genre of game should not be a surprise to the seasoned HO adventure player.
Having received an email that my review has been published, it was not. The only reviews getting on the site seem to be only the positive ones.
I have been a member for a very very long time and get the impression the BFG clearly no longer are customer focussed or indeed that bothered about the games. I do a get a game to play but they are getting rare. I also find the customer service is rather hit and miss.

I would rate -1 but it’s not available

I would rate -1 but it’s not available. This casino app. Chooses who stays, who goes and who wins 100% The audacity to promote non stop chip sales and then when you buy them and lose you are being told you have a gambling problem!!

My absolute favorite is when my brother chose to go join the Army, since we lived together he wanted to gift me his chips, levels, gold, tickets ect.. Now that was a 9 alarm gas fire that resulted in both our accounts being blocked from the game for a year! There’s people on this very app with over 30 accounts. BF absolutely has bots. Go to a mad mouse game and see all the Avatars jumping in and out of the game. They won’t like you or gift you and if you gift them a lot of times they won’t show up. Their accounts are generic, avatars betting minimum in scatter games and everyone knows it!

As far as the gameplay and all the little side stuff is garbage. They have removed all the old games and every new game is gems, orbs or something similar that eats all your chips and then you see a cartoon lady asking you “Having Fun? Buy this awesome deal and continue. OK no
It’s not fun to lose and BF knows bc they are not selling you a product, they can twist, turn and bend the rules for who stays and who gets blocked ( for at least 1 year) because you have a virtual gambling problem! Then there’s the “clubs” it’s a trip back to H.S. In the worst way! This is not relaxing, you have to add initials to your name, play reel rivals and get those crowns. Opinions and a great personality can hurt the leader’s feelings because all adoration should be channeled to them daily!

Now everyone are billionaires who don’t spin it’s a hoarder’s dream! If you play a game with jackpots going from mini up to Colossal, you’re lucky to get a mini. I personally think older people are stuck because they mortgaged their trailers to stay and as they die off God willing BFC will too!

Rubbish and expensive.

Since an update for game manager, I cannot access any of my games, probably hundreds and I keep getting the run around from customer services, who do this for long enough for them to put right the problem. Had enough now, so expensive and all the money I have spent buying games that I cannot access. Save money, time and aggravation, don't waste money on this site.

Making interactions more annoying isn't improvement

I have been a member at Big Fish Games for a very long time. I have always been happy with the games, the safety of the downloads, the try-it-before-you-buy it feature, and their support. About a year ago, they updated their website. Ever since, I have to re-choose the cookies I will allow every time I change a page within that website. Pretty annoying. Now they have updated their game manager, and it is equally tedious and annoying to deal with. Sometimes I want games sorted by game name (alphabetically) and sometimes by date installed. No matter which I select, every time I move within the manager or close it and reopen it, it defaults to date installed. It does not remember my selections. So now the Big Fish experience even on my computer is constantly annoying.

I am unsure what this game platform is…

I am unsure what this game platform is for or who because not even one game plays appropriately. All games are crushing or never launching. Whenever you ask tech support to help, they make excuses that your PC is incompatible. Come on, it is supposed to be compatible because the majority is using Windows 11 or so, but their games are for Windows 7 or XP. I loved this platform when I had Windows 7 and XP, but only in 2009. It doesn't seem like their games will be updated soon for a good experience. I don't even want to subscribe anymore like I used to.
