It appears that they are looking for anyway they can to charge extra fees when they already have some of the highest fees in the industry.
I have bought numerous items from their auctions and have minor complaints but also my fault for not personally view ing them. My big major legit complaint comes from picking up my stuff and I forgot to grab one lot. I called and he said yeah he forgot to and told me he could bring it by since he goes through Princeton now and again. He never came, I called and I've text him and got the ole "I've been so busy" now I don't even get a reply. I'll bring them to court and I'll run them down on every social media site I can find. I bought and paid for a 50ft 220v welding extension cord and various pumps. It's b#ll$hit. I will first go confront him and give him a chance to hand it over.
Very shady
Went to pick up my lot of assorted cutlery and he gave it to someone else by mistake. Stupid me I thought ok just send it to me. Now almost a month later he is still giving me the run around and I still don't have my lot. It was even for a charity auction. Seriously don't use these guys ever!
Found out he was running me up, promised to ship, never did.Went to pick up the piece and it was cracked and repaired ( poorly) told him I wanted a refund, he said when he had time. I filed a complaint against him with the credit card company. They are looking into it.
I recently bid on some vintage snowmobiles. I had asked for extra photos because I was 400 miles away. They said they showed everything in good usable condition. When I showed up a guy helped load them. Every item had damage and unusable parts overall. The photos were taken specifically to hide damage. The guy that helped load even admitted bidding up the items by $60 each! My total (with fees) was over $800! Not to mention a 14 hour drive and 3 tanks of fuel! At least those prices are lower.
After closer inspection getting the parts home I was even more disappointed to find there was not one single usable part on 2 snowmobiles, a chassis, and a pan. I will NEVER bid on anything from this service again!!!
Misleading titles and pictures (ex, a Henkel-Trocken knife block with a bunch of no-name knives in the block). No address given until you win an auction, so you can't check driving time before participating. Tight pick-up windows mean that it is too risky unless you have the whole window open to pick up.
Nothing but attitude on the phone. Avoid.
MISERABLE EXPERIENCE. Buck (owner) was hired for an estate sale when my father passed away. When you first meet this guy, he seems knowledgeable and nice enough. Once you are committed however, this man is VILE and a misery to work with, true redneck style, no class. Any issues are addressed with high levels of aggressions, zero logic, and limited focus on resolution; many items inaccurately/carelessly listed (high-end crystal with no make/pattern info, "condition unknown" on electronics that were in perfect working order, had to request correction to listing for a queen size bed and mattress that were listed as "double" no fewer than THREE times!). Other reviews address his hiding behind small print - a 10% "buyers premium" (in addition to his 30% of proceeds) added to all listings - definitely not something that was mentioned to the family. Pretty unhappy about the fact that many items from my family's estate are now in Buck's personal home (bidding against his customers). CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
I bought £250 worth of good from Bid2buy online in an auction. They have shown pictures of Brand New Beats Headphones and no description of any other product saying damaged or faulty. When I went to pickup the goods, they gave us all products in nice bubble wrapped brown boxes and some in original packaging. So I had no chance to check it there.
I opened them at home and 80% items had stickers written "FAULTY" behind them and 20% of products broken in HALF and now Bid2Buy.com deny all the responsibility. WARNING: it's a scam company and they are not registered with any Auction Association, so you can't file complaint against them. DON'T BUY ANYTHING from BID2BUY.COM
*** In their online auctions Bid2Buy put pictures of new products but sell broken items without mentioning that products are faulty or broken.***
What an A**le
I've just taken delivery of Lot 259 Boxed Bosch Rotak 430 Ergo-Power Corded Lawnmower. Unfortunately it turns out to be a broken unbranded small electric mower and the only thing Bosch is the box it came in. Bid2Buy hide behind their terms and conditions and refuse to do anything. This means they can in effect auction an item and then send you whatever they like. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM OVER THE INTERNET. C**P BANDITS.
DON'T TAKE MY WORD FOR IT READ ALL THEIR REVIEWS.JOHN.

bought lots of shoes some were (fake)£500
baby monitors (all did not work) £160
two printers one box empty on collection and the other printer no printer head £245
remington IPL6000 (fake) £300
1.On Sat went to pay and collect the tv following a invoice requesting payment .After travelling for 70miles,on my arrival i was informed they will not sell it to me.
2. On my attempt to collect the printers the one box was empty.I went back to their office to ask for my money back they refused to refund and spoke to me So rudely it's unacceptable.I equested the manager's involvement who wasn't available. Rang on Monday he said he will investigate and come back to me.Tuesday we spoke and his conclusions were:
-he will block me from bidding on bid2buy
-he will cancel the tv sell (although according to the terms and conditions its my item)
-i abused his staff (Absolute LIE)
- accusing me of having collected the printers before agreeing to investigate and send me a cheque for the printers which i am waiting for
-While i don't mind not bidding their auction,i am furious with the treatment i received from these people as a person and the accusations there after
MASSIVE BUNCH OF CROOKS!!! I Have been seriously ripped off at two auctions now. SERIOUSLY THINK ABOUT BUYING FROM THESE PEOPLE. The items I have bought have not been working. Their items are returns and either incomplete or just not working. I have wasted so much money. They wont respond to emails . They knowingly sell defective goods.
