He is knowledgeable and reliable.

Wendy and the team are wonderful
Wendy and the team are wonderful! My son looks forward to Friday's swimming session. Instructors are always smiling and are very friendly towards little swimmers. I am very happy with the lesson and the progress my son has made.

Free Swimming Lessons
I was lucky enough to get my daughter booked onto the free swimming lessons that are offered in partnership with Islington Council, during school holidays. It has been a God send for my daughter, helping her build her confidence, skills and independence in the water. The lead swim tutor is amazing (I forgot to get her name), but even my daughter has commented on how lovely she is. She's kind and patient and really helped my 4yr old feel comfortable being in the pool without me. She's even helped teach me basic skills in the water when I attended an adult swim class.
Only dropped a star, as I think the toilets could be better maintained throughout the day.

Highly recommend the class.
My 4 year old son started swimming lesson at the Ironmonger Row in March and he has already gained a lot of confidence and learned new skills!
He has participated twice in the intensive classes over the school term time off which we found very valuable. They are truly more intense and have added so much to his weekly classes.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and we would highly recommend the classes to everyone.

Free funding lessons
My daughter poppy has been having swimming lessons for the week with Wendy and Jack and they have been amazing with her we had the course of free funding for the week and they been amazing with her she has learnt so much. We can’t wait to book even more lesson for our daughter. Thank you

Nice but small gym
I’ve just joined, it’s nice, a bit small. The pool is fantastic. But the big shortfall is that you have to book (like in Covid times). I know it’s only a small thing but at my last gym you could just rock up. Booking adds a layer of stress to make your ten minute window. It would be greatly improved if you could just go.

On becoming a member
Due to the temporary closure of Golden Lane I was offered a transfer membership for older people and yesterday I availed myself of it.
The process was very easy with staff member Umma being a very helpful, kind and knowledgeable. The facilities look inviting and I am keen to start using them

Very good experience as just transfered…
Very good experience as just transfered from another sports centre. I had two accounts and Umma I think her name was really helpful in sorting out this issue and my first time at the centre. Especially, wirh app and scanning and a coin for the locker. Not to mention Shen I came out after a swim I mentioned some locker and electrical fault issue. The next day the socket which was hanging off was repaired!

I am a long term user (swimming) and very satisfied (I go off- peak). The pool is clean and clear virtually all of the time. The ground floor changing room/showers need more regular cleaning though - it's got worse in the last few years.
I have just completed the membership transfer from Golden Lane, and was given super service by Umma, when there were a lot of grumpy, impatient people doing the same as me. She calmly dealt with each person, never rushing them, whilst completing a number of complicated registration steps. Well done. People at the reception area are very helpfull/friendly in general as well.

I have attended over sixties swimming…
I have attended over sixties swimming lessons in Ironmonger swimming pool the staff here are amazing . Specially Ms Wendy Scanlan she is very professional in her teaching although I attended classes before I come to Ironmonger pool I could not swim correctly. Wendy showed me techniques in just 3 times now I am swimming with confidence.
