Mucky mattresses and poor customer service
Really poor customer service I’ve received today from the Bishop Auckland branch. Arrived at 5:30 (knowing that the store would be closing in 30 minutes). We arrived and the doors were locked and the sales advisor seemed most annoyed that a potential customer would have wanted to visit the store during store hours! His demeanour was unprofessional and was constantly sighing, he asked us what we were looking for and once we said we were interested in a tv bed he couldn’t be bothered and went to sit down!!! The overall atmosphere was incredibly uncomfortable and you could clearly see that this individual could not be bothered. I would also like to add that the point of sale cardboard advertisements had been chucked in the middle of the showroom - really good first impression for a customer (not). The mattresses were really grubby and in need of an update, there was a dark stain on one of the tv bed mattresses that was a massive turn off for us. I will not be purchasing from Bensons for Beds.

From start to finish, the experience for my mother when she was looking to purchase a new mattress for her electric bed was great. The sales assistant was very knowledgeable, asking all the right questions and explaining everything, from the available choices to the care packages offered. Whilst the mattress was not cheap, we are strong believers in that "you get what you pay for". Thank you for making my mother's experience enjoyable and helping her with this important purchase. Your sales assistant was so lovely, and we have already recommended Bensons for Beds in Bishop Auckland to family members. We will be back next time we are looking for a mattress or even some bedroom furniture.

Quick and easy
Needed a base and mattress and was sorted within the hour. My daughter used the pro sleep mattress to find her ideal mattress firmness. We then tested based on this and found both a base and mattress she loved. Plus side was they were in the sale too so not pushed to more expensive items having used the testing kits. Great deal for what we wanted and all sorted within an hour. Hope delivery goes just as smooth.
