Fantastic quality bedding and…

Fantastic quality bedding and outstanding customer service. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and every query was handled quickly and with care. You can tell this is a company that genuinely values its customers. Will definitely be ordering again and would highly recommend.

I love belledorme bedding I have…

I love belledorme bedding I have ordered a lot of their Egyptian cotton bedding from duvet covers to sheets and different thread counts I’m never disappointed they wash nice and are super soft I would recommend this company

Exceptional all round.

Received my order today, so prompt, and am very impressed with the curtains and pillow cases. The price is remarkably good value and I'm sure I will order again in the future. Thank you for being reliable.

Not happy. Awful company.

Not happy, ordered an expensive brushed cotton duvet cover and sheet. The quality wasn’t up to scratch, they were scratchy and bad quality. I reached out to complain to the company, sent the items back, and they refused to take them back, citing they’d been washed. They had not been washed- I’d only taken them out the packet to look at before packaging them right back up again as the quality was shocking.

They also haven’t sent the item back to me after they said they would, so they’ve now got the money, AND the item. I am very angry about it.

I would never shop here again, and would caution everyone else. Had better bedding off Amazon! Will stick to QVC for my bedding.

“Chris” from belledorm is also useless and either ignores my emails or makes excuses!

Edit: 31st Oct 24. Belledorm did send the item back to me, in shoddy condition without the original packaging. I had hoped to sell the bedding and recoup the money, however the packaging they’d sent it back in was a joke. I opened a case with Klarna (who I bought it with) and after to-ing and fro-ing, eventually got my money back. Save yourself time and hassle, and just don’t shop here.

Poor after care and guarantee worthless!

Contacted Belledorm as after 8 months of use as hole appeared in a king size 400 count cotton fitted sheet. I purchased the second sheet because I’d previously bought one in 2022 which is still going strong. I also felt reassured by the guarantee that came with the packaging of the sheet. Under domestic use the company offer a 7 year guarantee! Well that guarantee is just words as after emailing them sending photographs and explaining the use on our bed only since October 2023 they deemed that the item wasn’t faulty & the damage was just normal wear and tear! Having spent around £35 on this one sheet their guarantee is not worth the paper it’s written on! Very disappointed in their response and the sheet. I certainly will not be buying any further sheets from Belledorm in the future

Shocking Quality

We’ve replaced two of our bottom sheets with their 1000tc sateen sheets and they’re pilling within four months of use. We had the same sheets before for four years without problem so the quality has clearly gone done hill. Terrible customer service did nothing to resolve the issue. Good quality Egyptian cotton simply doesn’t pile, it’s poor quality tat and absolute not 1000tc

Satisfied customer

I ordered several items from Belledorm, and they are all excellent quality and good value (a cotton mattress protector, a duck down & feather duvet, an undersheet, and a duvet set). The embroidered duvet set, called Imogen, is really pretty. I particularly love the hand holes in the top of each corner of the duvet cover - I've always hated changing a duvet cover but this makes it really easy to get the duvet right up into the corners. Brilliant! Free gift of 3 different scented hanger sachets is lovely too.

PLEASE AVOID BELLEDORM’S 100% EGYPTIAN…

PLEASE AVOID BELLEDORM’S 100% EGYPTIAN COTTON BEDDING 200 TC BECAUSE IT IS ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE TO IRON

I decided to treat us to some quality bedding, and, after my research, I decided on Belledorm because they had been trading for 25+ years and were a British company. I purchased four sets of bedding, the Egyptian Cotton 200 thread count, from Belledorm’s range at a cost of £289. On the Belledorm website the bedding photographs are totally misleading because they are shown to be crisp, smooth as silk, which is simply not the case at all. Belledorm also say that the particular bedding I purchased is low maintenance, which again is totally untrue.

I am nearly 70 and served 22 years in the Royal Navy so I certainly know my way around an iron and an ironing board !

Unfortunately, the Belledorm bedding was virtually impossible to iron and did not resemble the bedding on Belledorm's website by any stretch of the imagination. I had no choice but to send the bedding to a professional ironing company, at a large personal cost, and even when they were returned, although they were marginally better than my attempts, they certainly did not resemble the bedding on the Belledorm website. One night’s sleep and they looked like they had never been ironed at all. In my humble opinion this rendered them unfit for purpose.

I contacted Belledorm and respectfully requested for them to accept a return and issue a full refund. Belledorm agreed to a return but only to conduct tests on the fabric in order to ascertain if there were any faults in the particular material. I duly returned the bedding. Belledorm then advised me that they had conducted a test and that no problems were found so would be returning the bedding to me that same day. I was also advised that there was an “expected amount of creasing to occur” although Belledorm was unable to tell me where this particular nugget of information was on their website. Had I known that I would not have purchased because who on earth would purchase bedding that looks like it has never been ironed ? So as far as Belledorm were concerned that was the end of the matter and goodbye.

I have never been subjected to such abysmal and appalling after sales customer service as I have received by Belledorm. It would appear that the phrases “exception to the rule” and “goodwill gesture” simply do not feature in the Belledorm dictionary and with this in mind I told them so when I contacted them again.

The response from their CEO was as follows:- “I regret that the base fabric of cotton inherently creases. It's a well-known fact and if you wish to reduce creasing on fabric a blend may be a better option. We are more than happy for you to take the sheets to any government body for an independent assessment and we will stand by their decision. As a gesture of goodwill, I can send you a few different fabrics that you can wash iron choose which is the best, then offer you a replacement at 50% off what you paid at Debenhams.”

But I had absolutely no idea that this “was a well-known fact” and, whilst I accept that ignorance is not an acceptable defence, I do have to say that Belledorm should not automatically assume prior knowledge of this fact. As stated before, had I known I would never have purchased the 100% cotton.

I had already lost £289.20 and, once again, I could ill afford to purchase more sets of Belledorm bedding even if it was purchased with a 50% reduction. I then stated that surely Belledorm was in a far better position to subsume this loss than I was.

Their answer was simply that my “request for Belledorm to replace or refund is not acceptable.”

Although I regret to post such a negative review, I feel as though I am fully justified in doing so and if it prevents just one person going through what I have just been through then it will have been worth it !

Easy on the shipping…

Experience getting new pillowcases to my door was fine - in every way, honestly.

The courier destroyed the packaging so much, I barely had to unwrap it to get to my (fortunately unscathed) items!

Loved the product though - and they were so well packaged in their own, they transited just fine. Just a shame the courier had no care in the storage to my front door.

A good company that gives good service

My experience with Belledorm has been one of first class customer service from order to delivery. Goods ordered on Thursday afternoon delivered by DPD at Friday lunchtime. Excellent quality and reasonable price. I was so impressed with the service that I have ordered more items which will be due today or Monday. Both DPD and Belledorm keep the customer well informed re the parcel's progress, so I am sorry that there are a couple of poor reviews. I didn't have any difficulty in contacting Belledorm by phone and the service was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Well done!

I have been shopping in tweed mill shopping outlet for a lot of years and always go to Alyson for my bedding at belledorm.she has always known what I like and always got me the right stuff.her service is second to none,I know that the bedding is pricier but the quality is fantastic and her knowledge of what she sells is unbelievable.thank you Alyson

Extremely poor customer service

Thought it was just me. I ordered a bed wrap clearly advertised on Ebay. Only to be sent some small cushion. Strange that I placed the double wrap in the basket. Anyway, I disbuted this and called the company but they didnt seem to care. The return process just doesn't seem worth it. Poor customer service. Definitely didnt value my custom or review how items are advertised to draw you in. Thank you. It's a lesson learned. It's a shame they couldn't be more flexible.

Customer service is terrible!

Customer service is terrible!! I have had to contact them multiple times in order to receive the address to return my item, then when I finally got the address and returned the item... I had no response about a refund! I have contacted them so many times about getting my money back and not had one response! I want my money back, this has been going on for months now!!!
