Being former Bell Home Security…
Being former Bell Home Security customers, our complaint was not with Bell while they provided security ( Oct, 1924 to Oct. 1925). Customer service was good and they were quick to take care of any issues we had with our system. However, when they sold Bell Home Security to API Alarm, they sold thousands of contracts. They created numerous problems for us! API is a horrible company! No customer care or service! We have been forced to honour a 3 year agreement to the tune of $745.55. While we’re were able to end the service agreement, it cost us big time! And, in the meantime, Bell gets richer! Bell has a total disregard for their customers! If you are in the same situation or similar, contact the Better Business Bureau and Ontario Consumer Protection and file a complaint. Both companies should not be able to get away with this!
