I wanted to share some feedback about my recent visit to your Ashford Outlet store.

I found the staff to be very cold and unapproachable. There was no interest in helping me or answering my enquiries, and I genuinely felt like walking straight back out of the store. The only reason I stayed was because I specifically wanted to purchase one of your bedding sets.

In the end, I had to ask whether the item was available online, rather than a member of staff offering that as an option. Had I not done so, I would have left without making a purchase, and you would have lost a customer.

I spent over £200 during my visit. While that may not seem like a significant amount to a large company, it is to me. I’m also the sort of customer who returns to stores where I receive good service, but unfortunately I won’t be returning to the Ashford Outlet.

The atmosphere in the store felt very unwelcoming. There was no warmth, enthusiasm or engagement from the staff. As a customer, I felt more like an inconvenience than someone whose custom was valued. A simple greeting, offering assistance, or suggesting that products could be ordered online if they weren’t available in store would have made a huge difference.

I hope someone is able to visit the store and observe the customer service first-hand, as I believe there is considerable room for improvement. Your products are lovely, but the customer experience did not reflect the quality of the brand.
