towels

I purchased towels. The description states espresso which is a dark brown. The photo showed a dark brown. The towels I received are dark grey. When I tried to return them they want to charge me return shipping. I have wasted almost an hour trying to get thru to them via chat and phone only for them to have the nerve to say these grey towels (they had me send them a photo) are correct and won’t pay for the shipping back to them. I use to shop in the BB&B stores frequently. The last 2 times I ordered online have been a disaster. I will not be purchasing from them anymore.

Also while in a chat online they disconnected me numerous times and when I called they did the same thing. They figure if you get frustrated enough you’ll go away.

Bed Bath & Beyond is a Scam

Bed Bath & Beyond has turned into a total scam. Cancelled my order with eight hours because the final receipt didn't give me credit for the coupon they provided. Three days later, I get an email telling me my order was being shipped and it's too late to cancel. Was able to buy the exact same product at Amazon for $20 cheaper. Will also be reporting them to the BBB and our state attorney general's office.

am seriously upset with Bed Bath &…

am seriously upset with Bed Bath & Beyond. I have done some redoing of things and have ordered quite a bit from them. Most of which I was satisfied with. But I had to return some things twice. The first was for an amount of $49 and change the second was for $90 and change. When I hadn't seen either in my bank account I called them and I was told the first for $49 would be in my account Today which it wasn't. I even got an email from "Justin" stating they released the funds and would be in my account today. So I called again. I was told that since I ordered the item but cancelled it within minutes they just applied the charge then was able to reverse the charge so it was a wash. I totally get that. My question regarding that one though, is why did I get the email stating a refund went to my bank account. Now, for the $90. The woman I spoke with "Makenzie" stated that instead of a refund they applied it to a store credit which is something I never do. I wanted the refund sent by the same method it was paid but they did a store credit. Now, she stated that they can't turn that around and issue the refund to me. Which we all know is shear B.S. Anything can be done. She checked with the "manager" and the manager said they could not talk to me they were too busy. But when they got to it she or someone would call me. I asked about how long that would take and McKenzie said they have about 30 claims before mine so they are busy and it could take awhile. As far as I'm concerned they are holding my refund hostage instead of doing the right thing. So I am warning you all the BED BATH N BEYOND is very sketchy . When the order goes in they take the money immediately even before the item is sent. But try and get it back is another story.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

I attempted to cancel an order less than 24 hours after I realized that I would not be able to use it. 3 days later I receive a notification that my order has already been processed & couldn't be canceled. Now I'm attempting to return the order & it's going to cost MORE to send it back!?! They trap customers into paying even if they aren't satisfied! I wish I could boast about the quality of the items but the lack of customer service overshadows my shopping experience.
I did respond to the response given and was told there was nothing that could be done! Thank you for wasting my time. My review stands.

I would give 0 stars if I could

I would give 0 stars if I could. I ordered an item and it was never received. It has been over a month since my package was due to arrive. Customer service has been un-responsive. Do NOT recommend purchasing from this fraudulent business!!

UPDATE: I went through the Better Business Bureau. Beyond.com responded to them and finally issued me a refund. I would still give 0 stars.

Recently made a purchase on a enclosed…

Recently made a purchase on a enclosed wall display shelf and realized it was too narrow for my for my collections. Wanted to return it,but the shipping cost was nearly half the cost of the shelf.
Of course I will not be returning it.
Very disapointed.
I will no longer do business with this company

Do NOT buy from Bed Bath & Beyond

Do NOT buy from Bed Bath & Beyond! They shipped a bed that did NOT have all the parts. I purchased the installation as well. Teh person came, could not put it together and they will NOT refund those services that were not used (at NO fault of mine!).

It's also taken me over two weeks just to get to a point to return the boxes...and I'm still not there! The product isn't non-refundable, so why am I having to jump through the hoops to return something that cannot even be put together!!

Nightmare and customer "NO" service!!

This company became a joke

This company became a joke. I ordered end table. It was supposed to be delivered in a week. The day of delivery I received a message stating it was delayed. Then days passed.
I want to their website and shows still processing day after day. When I called she asked me if I want to cancel or wait for another 30 days. She couldn’t provide any explanation what is going on.
So disappointing and I cancelled.

Would give zero stars if I could

Would give zero stars if I could. First set of lamps I bought came damaged. I tried a different set that were pictured with a white shade but what came looks more lavender. I liked the base so I tried to order different shades from them. The ones pictured show gold metal on their site. The ones delivered were silver. They claimed that's because of studio lighting and refused responsibility for their false advertisement. They said I have to pay $44 each to return so now they can also have the $400 in lamps I bought back even if I told I have to pay nearly $100 to send those back too. Never ever again!

Do Not do business with this company

Do Not do business with this company. I ordered two sets of Vancassa Bohemian dishes which came packed in two boxes (Service for 4 in each). When I opened the first box the top bowl was broken. I completed paperwork for return mailing labels. Their solution was for me to keep a partial set of dishes and accept a 7.38 store credit! There is a reason why they went bankrupt. My credit card company will be handling the problem.

What a nightmare experience dealing…


What a nightmare experience dealing with the “ new” Bed bath and beyond. My elderly mother purchased a $50 gift card for me for Christmas a few years back. I tried using it today and was told that it wasn’t in their system and was no longer available. After close to an hour of calling and being hung up on multiple times I was able to get through on text only to be told that the company would not honor previously purchased gift cards. ( there was no expiration date on this card) They only know how to parrot the same information over and over without having the decency or good business practice to honor the $50 or even a higher value coupon. This whole experience has been incredibly frustrating then to top it off they offered a 20% coupon as a complete insult as I already had a 25% coupon that was widely available to anyone. They are failing to honor a valid debt. The new company ( Beyond, Inc) is continuing to use the Bed Bath and Beyond name and branding to attract customers while simultaneously disavowing its financial obligations to them.
I was previously a loyal customer but will never buy from Bed Bath and Beyond or from the “new” Beyond formerly Overstock. I encourage you to do the same.

Bed bath and beyond has horrible…

Bed bath and beyond has horrible customer service and deceptive practices. I ordered 205$ worth of curtain brackets. The app reverted to an address is haven't lived at for over 10yrs. The answer BB&B had was for me to go knock on the door of the old address and ask if they have my package. On the phone with my bank to dispute the charges now! I see why they went out of brick and mortar business!

I bought an outdoor furniture set it was missing parts and the armrest WAS DAMAGED THEY TOLD ME TO TAPE IT UP ABSURD RESPONSE!!!!!!! First it was backordered 6 weeks

First it was backordered 6 weeks, but of course they billed my credit card right away. Then, I get a shipment date of March 24-26. Ok, we're going out of town 3/11-15, we'll be back in plenty of time. Today I get a Ring notification that the sideboard is on my front porch WHEN I'M OUT OF TOWN. Now I'm scrambling to find someone to bring the HEAVY thing inside. I contact the chat bot and they tell me they will charge me $150 to return it. I don't want to return it, I want to get it off my porch before my sprinklers go off and ruin it. The bot first says, "maybe it was delivered to your neighbor instead." Huh? I said it's on MY porch when I'm 400 miles away. They said they will contact an agent, but one never came on. I will NEVER do business with BB&B again. No wonder they went out of business once already.

I would give zero Stars, but it's not possible on the website. The bathroom rugs I ordered and received from them were very poor quality and the return fees were way too high. I wasted $36.97 on Bed Bath & Beyond and got no rugs.

I would give no stars if it was…

I would give no stars if it was possible. Discovered I bought the wrong clock within 3-hours of buying in online on a Sunday afternoon. I tried to cancel online with their webpage text. I was dropped by two different people. I called to cancel and I was told the order was already sent to the warehouse and they were not sure if they could cancel it. I received an email Monday evening telling me the clock had been shipped. I was now having to pay $24 to ship it back. So I’m to believe they couldn’t cancel the order with a simple computer entry. If I didn’t use their shipping label and pay the $24 they couldn’t guarantee they would receive it and would have to charge me to research the return. Do not purchase anything from this company.
