I called Becky Bee's for a little bit of advice and to make a small £2.15 purchase, regardless of the tiny price the lady I spoke with (it wasn't Becky) could not have been more helpful, she took time to talk to me and give advice and didn't try and sell me stuff. Ambrosia syrup bee feed
I have bought two lots of Ambrosia syrup bee feed. The bees just love it, they just can’t get enough of it.
This company is brilliant for beekeepers.
They sell first class products at an affordable price.

A productive queen
The queen and her companions arrived promptly and went straight to a queenless hive where she was immediately accepted. A week later i had a look and she has been very busy laying brood.

Thank you for the review. The reason for the refund was written in the order status email sent to you at the time of issing the refund. The reason were are unable to supply is that, due to current shipping restrictions, we are no longer able to send live bees to Northern Ireland. This information is also clearly stated on our website prior to ordering.
As we were unable to fulfil the order, a full refund was issued immediately.
We apologise for the disappointment and appreciate your understanding.
Queen bee purchase feed back.
Had my queen bee delivered yesterday and thought I would give feed back.
The queen was delivered over a week early which was unexpected so although informed this was happening it did cause issues for introducing her.
The queen itself was OK and had sufficient attendants with her and posted and packed as expected.
The only thing I could say that was a bit dissapointing was she was very small and the literally the same size as the attendants which can with a queen bee indicate she is less well mated and has a low output with laying.

We're pleased to hear that your queen arrived safely, and in good condition.
Regarding the queen's size, queen size can vary and a smaller queen does not necessarily indicate poor mating quality or reduced laying performance. The true measure of a queen's quality is her brood pattern and colony performance once she has been accepted and begins laying.
We would be very interested to hear how she develops over the coming weeks and wish you every success with her introduction and establishment in the colony.
Carniolan queen alive and well
Carniolan queen arrived safely, just checked the hive a week later and the bees have accepted her and she's started laying already :) very happy with her
