Customer Service....
So I purchased a washer & dryer from Barry's 13 month's ago (I have purchased 2 washers, 2 dryers, 2 stoves and a microwave over the past 4 years....sold & bought a house). The dryer just died no power at all, plugged into the same outlet as the washer so I knew it was dead. I also was positive that it was out of warranty with GE. But to confirm date of purchase I called Barry's and spoke with Joe; told him what happened and asked about the purchase date.
He told me it was out of warranty a little less than a month ago, felt bad and asked me to hold on he wanted to see if he could do something....he came back after speaking with Jen and said they were going to try and get it covered. It was Memorial day weekend and she asked me to be patient.
Well the day after Memorial day Jen called me and said she was able to get it covered...needed to wait about a week for the initial service call and the parts needed to be ordered but it was fixed free of charge.
Thank You Jen, Joe and the service team that took care of me...great customer service. Like I said I purchased a bunch and I will continue to use Barry's especially after this...going above and beyond!!!
