If I could give it a 0* then I would.
Applied for a balance transfer card, was advised I need to provide documents as I am self-employed. Absolutely fine. Sent those through several times, kept getting rejected saying these are incorrect. I then uploaded a note to their portal asking that they contact me and specifically tell me what they want, as I am sending the correct documents (I work in the industry so I knew exactly the documents needed). Whoever saw this couldn't be bothered and then rejected it yet again. Eventually got through to someone who confirmed that I sent through what was needed, only to be then told that the original £12k limit offered had been reduced to £200.
Have called in several times, nobody on their team knows how to handle this. Going to close it down.
Truly terrible experience.

Very quick response although still waiting for my pin number

Always trustworthy and ready to help in the event of disaster, which is usually the only time I would contact Barclaycard directly. All other transactions can be done in the app.

The card its self is brillinat - the use case for my card was ballence transfer but it took well over 2/3 weeks before I was able to actually transfer balance but you inly get 60 days from day you apply - it should be moved to day you ask for transfer as I have basicaly been given 35 months not 36 as stated

I had to call regarding some pending transactions that I needed to be stopped/reverted following a woeful interaction with a hire car company today - I never received the product and my repeated requests for a refund were being ignored, and on top of that a second payment was taken by the company without informing me, for literally no reason as no service was provided.
I contacted Barclaycard by phone, the first agent I spoke to took all my details before passing me over to the correct team. I was on hold for a couple of minutes, but it was all very quick and simple once I spoke to the advisor. I'm now feeling reassured that the fraudsters at Europcar won't be getting my money.
Would definitely recommend, a very simple and easy experience with Barclays today.

Just signed in to my account to read a notice that my online account is closing and I will need the app. No consultation, no choice, decision made purely to cut costs and to be able to track your shopping habits and instantly push marketing adverts to your phone. I have had a Barclaycard for many years so am furious by this decision. I don't want a less secure app on my phone, I want to do my banking at home on my laptop as I have always done. Consequently I will be leaving Barclaycard.

We have been with Barclaycard for over 40 years, opened our online account only to be told we will no longer be able to use it in September. You must now have a mobile phone. Lovely customer service that really thought about customers who don't have a phone.
