Having a website dedicated to musicians only and the ability to create a comprehensive profile. Would be nice if you could pick more than 4 genres when listing background and it seems difficult to get people to respond to messages, even to just say they are not interested.

It's a great resource for finding musicians or bands. Nice layout and platform. Would recommend to any seeking the music journey with fellow travelers. Easy to use provided your equipment is decent and up to date.

It only took a few weeks to connect with a great musician match. I highly recommend this site for targeting people you want to jam and/ perform with!

I / we've been using BM a couple of years in the Us to try to find another band member. We are also among the few musicians / bands who have uploaded tracks.

Not a good sign especially when there are so many 'Expert Level Musicians' listed there, who don't have ANY music to share with us mere, mortal, musos?

Risky from the off, we get a reply to about 1 in 12 msgs even though it's free to respond to a member who has sent you a message, and is a subscriber, and you're not. Fake profiles everywhere.

Yes i also got 'billed again' via my PP account, after my 3 month subscription expired.

I was looking at Bandmix in London and i see it's as crap there as it is in New Mexico.

In view of the 'resubscribing' i've read from other reviewers i see Bandmix as a 'Let's Rip-Off-Muscians-Pyramid-Scheme' as they're being propped up with fake profiles and fraudulent, illegal transactions post subscription.

A warning about auto re-subscription: UNLESS YOU CANCEL IT IN YOUR ACCOUNT DETAILS BEFORE AUTO RE-SUBSCRIPTION you'll get billed again and again. Look for the footnote*

Awesome. It was fun and needed at the time.

I found a few good band opportunities from Band Mix. I got 3 auditions and joined a band 8 moths ago. Things are going great! We are playing our 8th paid gig on Saturday and have about 10 more already on the books.

Well you helped me contact people I wanted to interview for a band member. Also people contacted me. I only regret that when I terminated my account you still billed me. Please stop charging my Pay Pal account and refund the latest charge of $14.

I spent over 3 years searching craigslist for members my age with a similar taste in music. I came close a couple of times but our schedules wouldn't sync. The last 2 years have been extremely frustrating as it seems that guys my age over 60 have no appreciation for the real pop hit music of the 60's and 70's. Anyway, I tried BandMix without much hope and it did take some searching and sending a lot of messages but out of all the work done, I found a couple guys that were serious and we've been rehearsing regularly for five months now, with our first gig coming up soon. I have to throw out a big thanks to BandMix for the help. Even though it took a little time to work, it is the only solution that did, and for that I am thankful.

I thought I would give it a go when it was on sale. It's basically a dead site that's like an early 2000s 'dating site' with very limited search functions.

The site is rife with fake accounts and scammers. I had a scammer contact me pretending to be a female vocalist and the next thing I know 'she' was sending me a load of erm.. unsavoury WA images of an Only Fans slapper and going full cyber.

These scumbags are sending out bulk emails hoping to scam people. I reported it to BandMix 4 times- the account is still there and nothing was done.

I even tried to post about it on their archaic forums to warn people but it wasn't published.

The scammers are obviously paying for a membership so it had me wondering if that was the reason they do nothing about it.

Aside from that, 95% of accounts have incomplete profiles without any music/video uploaded and about 1 in 30 people will actually get back to you if you're lucky.

It's a waste of time and money. The site needs an update and new people to run it who actually give a..

I accidentally let my subscription overrun, meant to cancel it. The next day, as soon as I realised, I contacted them to ask for cancellation. Didn't even get a reply. Thieves.

I was able to find multiple musicians for the band quickly.

This website is really cool! It makes it really easy to find people who also have the same interest in music as you. The only thing I don’t like is that you do have to pay to be able to message people, but besides that amazing app!
